Smith must have injected me with something. Richard activated his werewolf ability—Bloodlust. His strength exploded, and his eyes turned a deep crimson, just like all the times before when he'd defeated me. His howl cut through the air, tearing open wounds on my body. The Wolverine made it hard for them to heal so, she was having the upper hand. She managed to slice his shoulder and the other wolves backed away afraid. Cassandra used this moment of hesitation to shoot and cut one of its legs. It fell on the ground, screaming in pain. Cassandra grabbed another knife and rushed in for the kill. She stabbed the wolf right in the eye making it scream even louder. She felt like crying but she didn't. Instead she kept fighting the last wolf. She pushed the knife in deeper and dug deep enough to hit its heart. It finally let go of her arm and collapsed to the ground, dead before it reached the ground.
