FLOWER OF LOVE

FLOWER OF LOVE

a saleslady said as she approached. She turned and pointed to the necklace she liked. “May I see this one?” she asked, following the saleslady inside. Within a minute, she held the necklace in her hands, examining it carefully. Could this be the gift she would give Ricky's wife? “Miss, do you want others like this?” the saleslady asked. “No, just this one,” Flora Amor replied. “But do you have one with a D in the center?” “Sorry, ma’am. We have other pendants with D, but they’re not heart-shaped.”

letters that staved

letters that staved

she mused, her words capturing the essence of what was happening in that space. One afternoon, Ren, a quiet presence in the studio, brought in a bundle of dried flowers, placed them next to the notebooks, and whispered, “Offerings. For everyone who wrote what hurt.” The flowers, delicate and enduring, seemed to embody the resilience and beauty of those who had shared their stories.

Blood Roses

Blood Roses

They vanished, door slamming behind them, lock clicking. Inés stood alone, heart pounding, photos of her life scattered like fallen leaves. Smoke alarms shrieked somewhere distant. She grabbed the folder, stuffed it under her apron, and scanned the room. Second door? Window? Vent? Nothing. The only way out was the way they had gone. She tried the handle, locked. A burst of heat licked through the keyhole. Flames? No, impossible. But the smell; burning fabric, plastic, flesh, hit her like déjà vu.

Warning: My Mommy is A Savage!

Warning: My Mommy is A Savage!

“I’ve done wrong today, so to make it up to you, I bought this pot of flowers to give you. Please don’t tell Anthony, alright?” Charmine scoffed. She did not believe a single word she uttered. She looked at the fresh flowers and, squinting at it, lifted her leg to kick at the pot. Instantly, the pot of beautiful flowers crashed against the floor and, strangely enough, a powder-like substance wafted out of the pot. Charmine glared at Faye coldly. “You’re not even sorry, Faye!” she hissed. How dare she give her a manmade musk flower! This could cause infertility if one sniffed it for a long period.

Does anyone know if anthony and charmine married by end? And is momo really annabelle’s son not charmines’? I’ts just too long and I’ve spent a lot already. I wanna know now. Or else I’ll stop reading. Thanks
Bronwyn Bailie
Author dragged storyline. Leads were supposed to be super intelligent but keep getting caught in others plots against them. Charmine has quite the low EQ when it comes to Anthony. She wants to be with him but she's also the one always finding reasons to hide their relationship

MAD END'S DECEPTION

MAD END'S DECEPTION

The flowers clung to the skin, pulsing as if they were trying to draw something out, tethered to a pulsating red vine weirdly reminiscent of an IV line. Her eyes followed the vines, tracing them to their source. Between the beds, nightstands held small pots, each with a single bluebell-like flower blooming atop them. The vines twisted around the stems. Faint, unsettling sounds of low hums and wet, squelching noises emanated from the flowers. Her stomach turned. The four looked so pale that she initially thought the flowers were absorbing blood. But the longer she stared, the more it felt like something else. What could it be? The ink from the tattoo?

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

His heart suddenly clenched with pain. Persephone cherished the streets of Flinge, particularly the unknown little colorful and vibrant flowers blooming by the roadside. She claimed these flowers were never seen in Centrolis. After confirming they were unattended, she secretly plucked a bunch and turned them into dried flowers. Each day, she would beam at the flowers with a bright smile.

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Trapped in My Ex's Desire

Trapped in My Ex's Desire

Hiding falsehoods with a smile. Knock Knock CHECK The door opened. Now a man came. He brought a bouquet of flowers that was very large. A bouquet of flowers consisting of several beautiful flowers. Consisting of several beautiful colors. “Why is it getting more complicated?” Karina thought to herself.

Programmed the Quaterback Robot to Love

Programmed the Quaterback Robot to Love

Still, the image of Flynn’s expression the night at the lab, the flicker of hurt when I’d asked why he wanted to impress me, keeps looping in my mind like a broken recording. I should fix him tonight. He’s been glitching more often lately, and whatever’s causing it might be tied to that corrupted code or the email I couldn’t decrypt. I’ll deal with that after work, I promise myself as I push open my office door. And then I freeze. There, on my desk, sits a tall glass vase filled with bright orange and yellow flowers, sunburst lilies, tulips, and tiny gold blooms that almost glow beneath the soft morning light. The scent is sweet and a little wild, like something out of summer.

Shifted Fate: From Slave To Wolf Queen

Shifted Fate: From Slave To Wolf Queen

I couldn’t let her die for me, I wasn’t worth someone else’s life. Hastily scanning my surroundings, my fingers trembling as I pull out the lighter from my pocket. My pulse quickened, echoing loudly in my ears. Searching for dried flowers, they were more flammable compared to fresh flowers that contained more water. This garden was well-maintained, which meant that every bed of flowers was fresh and vibrant. Shifting my gaze to the forest, squinting towards the tree with ripples of bark and below was a bed of dried roses, stretching to lavender and finally a dried bush.

Mated To My Brother-In-Law

Mated To My Brother-In-Law

Soft lanterns hung from the ceiling, casting a golden glow over the rows of plants and wooden benches. Nick walked slowly through the aisles, letting the quiet soothe his ragged nerves. His fingers brushed against petals—roses, lilies, orchids, hydrangeas, all cultivated by the pack's gardeners with painstaking care. He wasn't looking for anything specific, but his hands kept returning to the same flowers: white camellias. They were Kira's favorite.
