Author's POV The library was quiet and empty, with moonlight coming through the big windows and making shadows across the old books. Ivan looked at his watch again. Midnight. Jason was now thirty minutes late. He wasn't coming. Something hurt in Ivan's chest—a feeling he didn't want to think about. He walked back and forth in the blocked-off part of the library, his steps echoing. Each minute made him angrier. "Chicken," he said under his breath, hating how the word tasted.

" In the morning she would wake up yo clean up and throw up. Doc visited her every morning and night. She usually comes into the dinning room for breakfast around 8am. " Throughout the afternoon she usually spend in the library that faces the main gate. The librarian would say thousands of seconds Iris would spend on stealing a glance at the gate. " They said she usually jumped at any sounds of car Cruising in. Probably she was waiting on pins and needles to see you arrive. " Evening she spent in the pool while at night she stare at the sky for sometime. Eric said and chuckled. “Yeah whatever…” I said and then entered the library to add to Miss Ellen. “Hello…” I started to her. She looked quite young and I assumed she might get easily manipulated. “Hi…” She said to me politely and kept looking into my eyes while I could see my plan getting successful. “Actually, I want to do an assignment which I have to submit after two days. So can we just sit here and complete it?” I said to her. She looked at me with her eyes stuck on me and then added, “I am afraid, I can’t let you sit here because the library closes at 3:30. Sorry…”

Garvin shook his head since Mark was using it to get closer to Gianna. “You shouldn’t ruin their bonding moment.” “So where are we going for lunch?” Iris asked curiously, Garvin lifted his wrist to eye level and said, “Anywhere you choose but we can’t be out for more than an hour because of the kids.” “Yeah, I miss them so much,” Iris smiled and hugged him, just as Garvin’s phone rang, he checked the caller ID and put it away. “Let’s go.” As soon as they stood on their feet, the phone began ringing again and when he put it away for the second time, Iris asked curiously, “Who is it?”

★ It was 3:36 pm, and Vivian was busy with her librarian duties at the Great Hill Towns Public Library. “Have a good day, and don't forget to bring back the book on the due date to avoid paying the penalty fine,” she said with a warm smile as she spoke to a teenage girl borrowing a book from the library. Vivian felt a sense of satisfaction when she helped people find the right books, and she took pride in her work at the library.

By 10:30 Am, Ivy arrived at the Golden Age hotels.Coming down from the cab, she looked very nervous. She looked at her watch over and over again, just to see if she had any more chances of being pardoned. Seeing how fast the time has been spent, she knew her chances of being pardoned were too slim. She was supposed to arrive at the Golden Age hotels by 9:Am as agreed. However, Just as she was about to leave after preparing breakfast, old Lady Willard, caught her leaving and made her serve everyone.

Iris will be at the library at 10 a.m., so please hurry up and get dressed,” Ralph instructed.
