A grunt erupted from the back of my throat as she placed her mesmerizing tongue over the burn, sucking on it in an attempt to soothe the skin. And then pushed him back onto the bed, “I also have another present for you.” Melissa said keeping eye contact. She sat up straight and started to open her pyjama shirt. Brock’s eyes went wide, he swallowed thickly and slowly, never taking his away from Melissa’s.

Reaching the VIP section, Izzy saw Lissa at the entrance, eagerly waiting for someone. Despite her troubles and those pains, Izzy forced a smile on her face and made her way towards Lissa. She hugged Lissa, relieved. She was glad that her family and her father would soon be fine, despite everything she had to go through. "Mom, don't worry, everything will get better now..." she said closing her eyes. "Everything is resolved..." Izzy was so happy that he didn't hesitate to hug her Mom who despised her every time. However, her happiness and her relief were not long-lived. Lissa ruthlessly pulled Izzy away from her and slapped sharply on her face.

I would just end up getting scolded. If he would just bother to check the security cameras… If he could trust me, even just a little… I had a maid pull up the surveillance footage. The video clearly showed everything that had just happened. Stan and Melissa watched it with me. Melissa's face darkened with fury. "So that's how it is. She looks so soft and fragile on the outside, but she's actually so calculating! We can't afford to have someone like her in our family! "Izzy, before this, I couldn't bear the thought of you leaving us to go abroad, but now I think you made the right choice. You just focus on leaving with peace of mind tomorrow. Melissa went nearer and touched the man's arm. Zachary turned when he heard her voice. His dark eyes startled Melissa and she instinctively stepped backward. He slowly walked towards her, while she continue backing away from him. She had never seen him like this. What's wrong with him?? "Zachary? Are you alright?" Her gentle voice tickled the man's heart. She's obviously afraid of him, but she refused to show it. Suddenly, Melissa couldn't retreat anymore when she felt her back rested against the wall. Zachary put both hands on the wall, enveloping her in. He looked deep into her violet eyes, which had now become slightly darker against the moonlight.

“Go ahead.” Rissa hesitated, then bowed slightly and hurried back the way we’d come. And then there were two. Just me and Melissa, standing in a narrow street that had grown suspiciously quiet. I turned to face her fully, done with pretense. “What are you doing, Melissa? What’s your goal here? Do you want to kill me? Is that it?” The question hung between us, stark and accusatory. Melissa laughed, a genuine laugh this time, full of amusement. “Kill you? Don’t be stupid, Anokai. This is a shopping experience. A gift from the alphas. You can get anything you want here.”

Izzy responded almost instantly, letting out a soft laugh as she slowly peeled off her T-shirt and jeans. “I thought you were stressed… or mad… or at least too tired from everything going on at work?” she asked, breathless. “Shh… Let’s just go for a swim, baby girl,” he whispered, flashing her a wicked grin. Izzy shook her head, smiling as she looked up at him. The door didn't creak open like in the movies. It slammed withfull force. I jumped back from Jace so fast I nearly took out a shelf of pool noodles, which, honestly, would've been a fitting way to die. Here lies Izel Brooks, killed by foam and shame.
