Lyle was awake and it was not the groggy kind of awake that Adam had first exhibited, but he was alert and ready to move. Adam on the other hand was surprised by one of the hedge walls moving and changing the pathway. He was redirected from his original path which would have brought him straight to Lyle. He had to move down a different path that took him away from Lyle and the start of the maze. The King chuckled with delight. "Oh yes! I really must remember to thank to warlock who built this maze for me. He did an astounding job in just three days!" He said while reaching over and patting Amaris' hand. They are more cunning than humans, but they are also a cowar

"I'm the goblin king Izak, this is my wife Chig and son Zrukz, we've come to help heal the half-blood. My eyes widen and I laugh, fucking sneaky little creep.

“Stay with me, Phina. These walls want to crawl into your head. Don’t let them.” She nodded, though the unseen pressure didn’t lessen. At the base of the stairwell, the passage split in three. Jareth paused, torch held high, scanning the walls. “The left leads to collapsed tunnels. The right to the ossuary. Malrec’s circle will be straight ahead.” Kaelen raised a brow. “And how do you know that?” Jareth’s face hardened. “Because I stood guard here two nights past, when his apprentices hauled crates into the chamber. I heard them chanting through the stones.”

We've been busy lately, and all we can manage are short, stolen moments like this. A slight squeak of the door that we didn't shut all the way warns us we aren't alone. It's Labyrinth, one of King's guard. His eyes make you look twice-one blue, one green. He's also a huge goliath of a man and when you add in beautiful eyes, it's an odd combination. His square jaw, full lips, and lethal persona are common among the Shadow Warriors. Labyrinth, as one of King's guards, is deadly. Though, right now, he just looks sheepish.
