He’s carrying something bundled up, and even though the footage isn’t clear, my heart pounds, hoping for something, anything, that might confirm my instincts. James zooms in slightly, his fingers tapping the keyboard with a steady rhythm. “Watch this part,” he says, pointing to the screen. “Right here, he’s just walking, minding his own business, but then… look.”

“So what about magical creatures are we learning about today?” She grins at me before dropping a heavy book down in front of me, “History of magic creatures!” I put my face in my hands and groan, Drago chuckles from where he’s found a comfortable spot to watch us, a book in his hand.
