It was a sigil. Round, but malformed. Spilling out into writing I didn’t know, splintered by decay. At the center was a symbol that crawled at something deep in my neck, two dragons, one consuming the other, locked in an endless cycle of blooming thorns. I didn’t know it. But I knew it. Knew it by memory stolen from my bones. “Draven.” His boots were by my side before my boots touched the ground. He didn’t ask what I had discovered. Didn’t need to. He stared.

His expression, and an annoyed Jenny, gave me a little sense of satisfaction. Then suddenly, the doors opened, making the room as quiet and cold as a graveyard. The Beta walked in, but he wasn’t alone, he was with Alpha Drax. The most handsome, yet terrifying man l’d ever seen, towering at over six feet tall. His physique gave off raw power, and his presence a chilling aura. His hair was black as coal, a well-shaped angular face with blue eyes that made him stand out more. His presence was enchanting, yet dangerous. It was giving a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I didn't even look up when a presence filled the doorway and just stared into nothingness. “She is dead…,” I murmured softly as I choked on my tears. “Who?” Austin questioned, and I inhaled sharply as I looked up at him. My bottom lip began to quiver as I stared at him. “Olivia, Landon, Jace, and Tonya,” I muttered and watched his eyes begin to glow in a blinding whiteness. He started panting painfully before he growled menacingly, “Patrick must die.” Nodding in agreement. I told him that his dad and Sirius, with several guards, were going to attack the prick at this very moment.

The Helm of Awe covered my left shoulder and on my right was Valknut. Yggdrasil was in the middle and flowing from the roots of the tree was a wolf head. On either side of the wolf was a Jericho 9mm, Kiran’s personal touch to my Zeta mark. From the bottom of the roots, down my spine, was a ghost rune designed by Malachi with my name Jericho adorning the top of Yggdrasil. An hour and a half later Marcus was finished and I put my shirt back on. Tonight I would have to undress with every member of the pack present and shift for the first time in my life.

The drake has a warm glow about him, like captured sunlight, his skin a tawny brown like days spent too long on a beach. His hair looks like a fallen star, starting with black at the roots and extending out in every direction with a fade from black into purple then red, orange, and finally pale blonde. His eyes are coal black.

He could endanger me and my kids. Going out of the room I had been tortured I couldn't believe my eyes, the whole place was burnt down excluding the spot I was in. " You don't have to be worried, everyone involved in this is dead including Diana," The strange man said. This meant to be that he had burnt all of them. Seeing a big dragon, I shivered in fright. " Dragons are real?" I asked with excitement. "Yes they are," he said with a smile, in a swift movement he got on his Dragon. " I'm sorry I can't get on that," I said, moving backward in fear.

This can only be Drakon, even though Tahr swore his uncle was dead. I'm not sure what I expect-Drakon to talk first, ask where Tahr is, or challenge me. He does none of those. The impact of his body sends me backward and we fall inside the tower. He's much larger than I am and he doesn't let go. I can't help thinking that the silver of his eyes is so much like Tahr's. We're spinning and falling, heading to the hard stone floor below. The nest thankfully isn't in our path.

” I said curtly my nails digging in harder to the palm of my hand. "No, I just wanted to tell you, so you know my last words to you were truth, no one lies when they're on their death bed Daydra, you should know this better than anyone" He said. I know he can smell the blood coming from my hand because his nostrils flared and his eyes locked onto my hand for a moment. The blood dripped down onto the floor, looking back at me he sighed in defeat and told me how to reject a dragon and his full name. I saw Loclyn coming our way and fast with rage spilling out of his aura, that was the push I used to deny Jax.
