Whether she was willing to listen to me or not, I was going to do what I wanted to. I dropped the idea of going back to check up on Darius as Hazel got into describing what had happened in the book she'd just finished reading. While I would always jump on an opportunity to read, I couldn't help but countdown the minutes that was left till it was time. Around an hour later, the said time arrived

A snap of his hands and a lady brought out a file, walking towards them once again. Hawkins laughed as he grabbed the book from her. " Well, why don't we try and see who you really are. Shall we?" James arched his brows trying to understand what Hawkins was getting at. James leaned forward slightly, the cigar hanging loosely between his fingers as smoke curled into the air. His eyes narrowed at the file in Hawkins’ hand. “What game are you playing?” James asked coldly. Hawkins did not answer immediately. Instead, he slowly opened the file and flipped through the pages like a man who had all the time in the world.
