Twice. A scene of nostalgia rushed over me. A cat. That same black cat. It stared at me from across the window. “What are you staring at?” I tilted my gaze to Zilla, shoving an index finger at the cat. Her brows rose as she leaned in. “What?” “Right there.” I pointed again, this time turning towards its direction, but nothing was there. Her brows arched. “Right where?” My hand slowly dropped to my thighs. Was I finally losing my mind?

Really.. really psychos. “Our friend here looks like he needed it.” My obsessive stalker apparently named Zane raised his head, before lifting a corner of his lips, and I had a feeling that he was more dangerous than his other two friends. The way the big cats would raise their heads and how their eyes pierce through the forests. Their nostrils sniffing the air for an unfortunate prey.

The blood was not mellow in Jenny's head. Jenny came back to her senses, a little embarrassed, what did she want to do just now? Too violent! Definitely infected! Thinking that she raised her head and glared at Daniel, "Huh!" loudly, then turned her head away without looking at him. The man who was angry at the dog and beat the cat with an inexplicable expression, Jenny's eyes twitched.

Jane I look up and meet his fierce gaze. The warrior’s eyes are filled with a murderous intensity that sends fear coursing through me. Despite my trembling heart, I try to maintain my composure. Thoughts of escape race through my mind, but I remain rooted to the spot, unable to move. His piercing stare seems to suffocate me, making it difficult to draw a breath. Once more, he glares at me with a look that could kill. I understand that he is only trying to intimidate me, but in that moment, I am unfazed.

Conversations stop and start as I pass, eyes tracking me like I'm a deer walking through a pack of predators. Which, I suppose, I am. I find a seat near Cassian and Leo, letting their presence shield me from the worst of the stares. And then I feel it. A gaze, heavier than the others. I look up. Jax stands across the hall, a cup in his hand, speaking to one of his wolves. But his eyes are on me. He doesn't smile. Doesn't wink or nod or do anything overt. He just... inclines his head. A fraction.

She was the only one left slowly eating the last few pieces of dumplings. Jay was feeling annoyed after being insulted by Rose. He frowned when he saw Zetty’s dilly-dally behavior. Zetty looked at Jay and felt the disgust he had for her. She suddenly rolled her eyes at him. The way she rolled her eyes was horrifying. Her irises were completely hidden, leaving her white sclera. She had lowered her head too, looking completely like a female ghost. Jay was stunned. He was very familiar with Zetty’s haunted look because Angeline used to do it often when she was young.

He walked over, his cold eyes staring at Jinx for a second before he looked at me. "Come on." His deep voice said and I was in a trance. Yeah, a trance of hotness. I watched as he walked past me, obviously wanting me to follow him. But I couldn't move. All of the violent scenes flashback and had me paralyzed with fear. I didn't move until Jinx nudged my legs with her head. I snapped out of it and watched he was waiting for me to walk. Jinx walked directly in front of me and he glanced at her before shaking his head.

Let's give our boys a snack. I backed up, shaking. Was I really about to get ripped apart before the zombies even showed? Their teeth were huge. This was gonna hurt. The dogs lunged like they got the memo. Barking. Charging. Dylan clapped. "That's it! Tear him up!" Jaws wide. The stink of blood hit me. My legs locked. Nowhere to run. I shut my eyes. That's when the cats woke up.
