Jonas stood up and went to me. He rubbed his eyes which was reddening. "You sleep again," I told him. "I thought you were going out somewhere," he said, sounding worried. He paused and heaved a deep sigh. "If you had ever been in love, you would have known how it feels. I know you will fight for what's yours till the end of times, Luciano. “She's been sleeping in lately. Must be nice, being eighteen.” Jonas took a sip of his coffee, and it burned his tongue, but he didn't wince.
