"It is fine, little brother. I promise." Before Joe can say more words, his heavy wooden door swings open. A big wolf walks inside, and Joe's assistant is right behind him. "Forget it. I talk to you later," Joe tells Jackie and ends the call. Joe looks at Michael’s Beta Aide, Taj Jackson. Taj smirks and does not look sorry at all for bursting into the private room. "Master Hale," Taj says, bowing his head a little bit. "It is good to see you."

Luna Claudia nodded in response and she shook her head, snapping herself out of whatever she was thinking. “You are right about that one,” Luna Claudia said, and Mario wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her to his chest. He looked at Ezra who was standing on the windowsill from the outside, staring out at the people. It was a habit that he often had, a trick that he taught me whenever he wanted to run was to jump out of these heights, and though I knew that I might never be as good as he was, I knew that he was impressed by how fast I learned. But then again, having a father like mine, despite not telling me who he was, I was still forced to train, athletically at least.

“And let’s not forget, he’s the one who turned Zack into a human punching bag, not Elijah.” Zoe opens her mouth to retort, but before she can get a word out, a familiar middle-aged man in a crisp hotel uniform approaches our table. His nametag reads Daniel, and his polite smile doesn’t quite reach his eyes. “Excuse me, are you Miss Zoe?” he asks, his gaze flickering between us. Zoe freezes for half a second, then points at me. “Nope, that’s her." “Seriously?” I roll my eyes at her and glance back at Daniel. “What’s the problem?”

I extended a hand to him, and shaking my hand, he smirked at me, watching as Natasha took a step back. “Alpha Nathan Kozlov. You really are a man of business. I can see that your place seems to bring in more people with each passing day” he said, looking at Natasha who bit her bottom lip as she smiled. I knew that it disgusted her to act this way, but she also knew her job and duty well, and it was one of the main reasons why she was the ONLY one qualified for this job and no one else.
