He leaned down, capturing Dean’s lips with an intensity that left no room for escape. Joe’s kiss was ruthless and commanding, carrying the unmistakable weight of someone who expected complete control, without the slightest trace of tenderness. Dean tried to pull away, but he couldn’t even summon the strength to turn his head. The pressure from Joe’s presence was overwhelming. The bell on the door jingled as I entered, and I was struck with a heavy smell of roses and flowers. “Joseph?” I called, doubling over into a coughing fit. “Coming!” His voice shouted from farther inside the building. “Sorry, I know it’s strong, I had a delivery of wedding flowers this morning and I haven’t had a chance to put them in the flower cooler yet.” He appeared from behind a screen, his arms stuffed with dozens of bursting red roses. “I’ll just toss them here,” he muttered, throwing them undelicately on the waiting area couches at the front of the shop. “Alright, wedding time!”

After all, he could be wondering the same since I’ve made no attempt to contact him either. I nearly jumped out of my skin at the knock on the door. Grayson! I raced to the door, not wasting time to look through the peephole. There was a well-wrapped book on the table. Joe felt a headache when he was asked by his boss to prepare gifts. In the past, Blake attended parties to prepare gifts, he would usually prepare calligraphy, paintings, and watches. However, this time, it was Miss Chang, which would be troublesome.
