I gasped, spinning around. Julian stepped out from the shadows of the patio pillars. He had discarded his suit jacket, his white shirt unbuttoned at the collar, the dark lines of his neck tattoos looking lethal under the pale moonlight.
"Julian," I whispered, backing up until my heels brushed the very edge of the pool. "Don't. Julie cancelled the tour today, so your little game didn't work. Leave me alone."
"My plan worked perfectly," he growled, closing the distance between us with slow, predatory strides until he was towering directly over me, completely trapping me against the water.
