Ken waved a dismissive hand.
“It’s not exactly difficult. He spent most of the afternoon explaining dinosaurs to me.”
Leo nodded proudly.
“He didn’t know the difference between a T. rex and a Velociraptor.”
Ken shrugged.
“In my defense, one is just a slightly smaller dinosaur.”
Leo gasped in dramatic horror.
“That’s not how dinosaurs work!”
I shook my head, smiling as I slipped off my shoes.
The apartment felt warm and familiar.
Soft lamplight filled the living room, casting a gentle glow over the couch, the bookshelves, and the small collection of Leo’s toys scattered near the rug.
