Turning My Life Around
"Wait a minute, I need to get something."
I dug out the camera I found from the other end of the bathroom.
"You did that on purpose?"
William’s eyes were red, and tears were about to fall.
I nodded. He wanted to say something, but I was already too dizzy and passed out.
When I woke up, I was in the hospital. The smell of disinfectant was strong.
There was a young man lying on the edge of my bed, holding my IV.
"You're awake?"
He woke up as soon as I moved. I nodded, feeling a sharp pain in my throat that made it impossible to speak.
