Kael stared at me, his breathing uneven, his eyes dark with conflict. Finally, he stepped closer, his hand lifting hesitantly before cupping my face. “I don’t want to lose you. Or them. Tell me how to fix this. Please.” I closed my eyes, leaning into his palm despite everything. My voice cracked. “See me. Not just the breeder, not just the womb carrying your heirs. See me, Kael.” His thumb brushed away my tears. “I see you, Aria. And I’ll prove it.”

I say, groaning. "Are you sure?" "Yes, baby. Let's get downstairs, they're probably waiting." "Okay. You look beautiful, baby. Red suits you well." he says, kissing me. "I can say the same for you." I say, pecking him on the lips. He grabs my hand and we head downstairs. "You look amazing, girl! I love the red fur coat!" Amber says, on Kayno's arm. "Thank you Amber. Yellow looks good on you!" I say, hugging her.

I asked her, my arms leaning on the door pillar. She gave me a thumbs-up sign before placing her palm on Kairo’s chest and pushing him away. "Focus on taking that out of your body, and don’t mind me here!" Kairo snapped at her while he held her hair up. I shook my head and turned around, checking on Amara, but she was still checking her closet like she couldn’t decide what to wear. Amber stood up from sitting on the bed she shared with Catherine. She tied the hem of her big shirt so it wouldn’t hang long on her before she hooked her arm around mine.

Klaus Amber was behaving like a kid who wanted something impossible to have. I wanted to explain everything to her but it wasn’t the right time to have that conversation when my mate was in heat and she needed me the most. “Stop, Amber. Fucking leave, right now,” I had to bawl when she took a few steps closer to me, gaping deeply into my eyes. Preya fixed her inquiring gaze on me. Amber stood in the doorway leaning against the open door. She was 5’7 with blonde shoulder-length curly hair and arctic-blue eyes, complimented by her triangular face structure. In my world, it felt like everyone was taller than me. Anyway, she is Beta Dwayne’s daughter whom no one messes with, and also the second technology genius who just happens to be Simon’s mate. The moon goddess knew what she was doing when she made that pair. “Today was a busy day,” I frowned, then walked out of the room, going through the hallway to Forbes' room, which was in the center of two others. Amber and Preya followed.

Amber was alone outside in the garden, Bryan was with Aaron and Ashley was with Dawn and Rafael, Amber didn't want to hear anything so she stood aside and stared at the flowers. "You must be Amber." She heard someone say, she turned around and saw Aiyanna right behind her. She gave her a smile, and looked rather excited. Amber gave her a faint smile and said, "yes, that I am." "I have a lot about you from everyone, especially Aaron, he just wouldn't stop talking about you, so I wanted to meet this special woman myself."

“ Cain? Cain!” yelled Reyna then she looked over at Amber who was grinning with sadistic amusement, her eyes shining with A pleased glimmer as she purred, “ I will see you soon, Rey! Let’s see if Covington’s pack would let you stay after this.” “ I will kill you!” shrieked Reyna as shock and rage flooded her veins. “ I will kill you, Amber. Even if I have to drag you down with me, I will hunt you down and rip that bloody heart of yours.”

Erica waved and went to her room. Amber went to the kitchen to drop her plate. She was going to meet Erica in her room. She saw klara coming angrily. She bowed down and continue walking. "Why is she so angry? I think some made her angry" Amber muttered to herself. She got to Erica's room, Amber bowed down to greet Erica. "How are you doing?" Erica asked. "I'm good, I'm sorry I did not come to appreciate you for helping me heal my leg." Amber said bowing her head.

“Amber?” Mother Kenna Williams stands in front of her with a smile on her face. “Mother,” she cries hugging her. “I’m proud of you,” Kenna says as she plants a kiss on little Amber’s head. “I miss you,” Amber says tears dropping like crystal shards, “I love you so much.” Kenna smiles, and says, “I love you too, know that I’m always here for you.”

Axel replied, a playful grin on his face. With trembling fingers, Amber opened the box, revealing a delicate silver necklace with a small heart pendant, having a touch of purple at its soul. She gasped, her eyes filling with tears as she turned back to Axel. “Axel, this is beautiful!” she exclaimed, her heart swelling with joy. “I know it's not sophisticated, but I wanted to get you something special. Something to show how much you mean to me.” Axel took the necklace out of the box and reached behind Amber, gently fastening it around her neck.
