I saw myself at the edge of nowhere beneath a very odd tree. White leaves were falling from it that gave me an eerie sensation. I was like inside a 90's television. Everything was in black and white. My gaze landed on the guy beside me. At that moment, I realized that I was not alone. Everything has no color except me and him. It felt weird especially when he touched my cheek softly and I felt the warmth of his hand. I was lying on the grass with him, captivated by his peculiar eyes. Those pair of eyes were green as emerald stones, fascinating and deep as if it can pierce through my soul. I can’t take my eyes off him.

I fight back a tear and walk in to join the girls back on the dance floor. Amber hands me a mason jar and puts her finger to her lips. She winks at me, which is more of a blink. She is trying to signal to me that it contains her dad’s homemade moonshine. She apparently has had quite a bit tonight because she starts giggling when I take it from her.

*Amber* "Is everything ready in the dressing rooms ?" Amber was looking at her assistant Anna. Anna, who was a young girl with short spiky black hair and a lot of piercings, nodded vigorously. "Yep, everything is exactly as ordered". "Good, I don't want any trouble tonight, Sam can be quite temperamental". Amber said. She, if anyone, knew that rock stars weren't always easy to work with, and Sam Quincy who was performing tonight was especially troublesome.

I had to find a way out of this vision, I had to get back to Daryl. “I know what you are going to do to me little sister!” Coming to a stop, I frown. It wasn’t Lucian speaking, which could only mean one thing. Amber! “Everything you see, I see. I didn’t put a curse on you for nothing.” She appears in front of me. Her amber hair matching her eyes exactly. She was taller than me by a few inches. Her hair hung around her oval face as she looks on me. Her lips twisted up at the corners.

She said. "I'd never forget you Dawn, even without this necklace," I said, "you make me feel more alive than I really am... I'd never forget that." She smiled widely, revealing her two front teeth. "Let's touch the clouds Kaldar..." I carried her in my arms and she wrapped her hands around my neck. I leaped again, she looked in awe at the high trees around and the sparkling lights. We landed and I jumped again, even higher than the first. I got higher and higher and then I saw a distracting yellow light. I felt a strange heat on my face first and then the burning away of my skin.

Cain countered, and the mother and daughter pair trembled. They were already at a disadvantage in the de la Roche clan. If Cain abandoned them too, they would have no one to take care of them in the family. Amelia’s intestines turned green. She regretted quarreling with him earlier. If she had known how grave things were, she wouldn’t have the guts to anger the only shield and anchor they have to a life of luxury. Amelia and Cecille turned their eyes down on the floor, too afraid to see the anger on Cain’s face.

The chain was adjustable, allowing Aqua to wear the pendant at just the right length so that it rested over her heart. As she wore it, Aqua noticed the stone's clarity, reflecting her calm and balanced state of mind. Whenever she felt at peace, the pendant remained clear and pristine. However, when her emotions stirred, the pendant would change. A slight hue of blue appeared when she felt sadness, while a warm golden tone emerged during moments of happiness. If anger or fear took hold of her, the gemstone would darken, turning a deep, unsettling black.

My face, was very strikingly gorgeous, my father used to say I was more beautiful than the goddess herself but I bet he was just teasing me. But what truly caught Amber’s attention were my eyes. They were like two glittering suns, with a warm, golden light that seemed to come from within. They shone with a soft, glow that seemed to originate from their depths. Their shape was like a lotus flower, with delicate, petal like eyelids that seemed to unfurl like the gentle petals of a bloom. The irises were golden but seemed to shift from bright, shining yellow to deep, burnished copper, like the first blush of sunrise on a summer morning.
