The windows were open, and I could hear Selena talking inside. "It’s good that he has come for you," a woman’s voice said. It sounded like Selena’s mother. "Now, you will become the Luna, and you will get all the power you want." I froze, my heart hammering in my chest. What? My mind raced as I strained to hear more.

My head snapped up, "What is that?" Emma looked at me. "Haven't you heard? The Lycan King is looking for his luna. Apparently, anyone can sign up!" she beamed at me. Then my eyes flashed to the TV as the same words of the moon goddess flooded my head. An opportunity... This is it!

It all felt like one big barbecue party, with part of it being the welcoming party becoming the member of the pack. When Helena and I joined the crowd, we were received so warmly. Helena was the pack’s Luna, since Jackson hadn’t yet found a new Luna. She had already told me that I was her Luna, but since I wasn’t ready for that yet, we hadn’t shared it with the pack—and fortunately, no one else was pressing me about it. A small, two-level stage had been set up on the lakeshore so that the moon shone beautifully on everyone on stage. Jackson and Dave were already waiting on stage, and Mateo was walking toward us.

At that, she moved away from my side to join in the stupid celebration of a darn nanny returning and I continued to glare at Elena and then at Camila. “That’s because you don’t know me, Camila. He dipped his head, and stepped to one side. My annoyance at Mason getting the getting the better of me; “My name is Sienna...” I bite out. “Not Luna.” I couldn’t find it in myself to apologies at this moment for my own clumsiness of not looking where I was going. But at this moment I was far too riled up.

We all look at her like she’s crazy. There’s a few moments’ pause. “There’s no need, Luna”. The ‘guest’ speaks. “Michelle is in fact, your sister”. Emma looks at Selena. “How do you know and why do you look exactly like me, who are you?”. The woman looks at all of us. “Let’s get some air shall we?”.

I know she won't back off until she gets Damon. I felt my wolf getting angry when she said those words but I managed to push her back. "I'm going to kick her ass," Alexia mumbled in my head. "I, Emma Jones, warrior of the Blood Moon pack, challenge Valentina Charlotte Winston for the Luna position." I looked at her and saw her smirking at me. "I, Ava Miller, warrior of the Blood Moon pack, challenge Valentina Charlotte Winston for the Luna position." I looked at the girl and saw her looking at me in disgust. I feel my rage build up inside of me.

The guardian's voice asked. "My luna. Alpha Uno's Luna. She is Selena Hemsworth. The daughter of an elder couple of our pack. She lived in the human world for a while but she is here now....back on where she belongs." Selena looked around, trying to find out where the vouce is coming back. "Is this true? Selena Hemsworth." I saw her nod in different areas. "Yes Sir? Ma'am...N-Nice to meet you." She must be weirded out but she's doing pretty good so far.

He roared, and Isabella screamed "Papa no!" Then a voice to the right of her mate spoke up. Camille's voice carried across the pack as they sat, stunned silent in shock, "I Camille Menendez challenge Isabella Romano for the title of Luna!" And Isabella's world crumbled as chaos erupted.
