Do I really possess all these powers? I swallowed hard and continued reading but there was nothing more on the golden wolves. Rather, I saw one about another rare type of wolves termed to be the greatest in power. They are known as the titanic wolves. Not wanting to read on that, I skipped it, flipping pages for any other insight on the golden wolves but there was none. Rather, the rest of the book was filled with how faithful our goddess is, which wasn't what I wanted. Annoyed at the writer of this book, I closed it and placed it back where I got it from.

I barely whisper as I look at the walls lined with books and the shelves that reach the ceiling. “Bastet!” A book falls to the floor creating an echo as it lands, startling me. “King Kolby how… what…” I see Althea, Tawny’s Grandmother, the late queen to Tolba standing there with her mouth gaping open like a fish in shock. “Althea!” I exclaim with just as much surprise. “We found another gateway and it took me here.” “Well, yeah,” she says with sarcasm. “They are all over the place in this realm, I guess you just need to know where to look. But I thought you needed the stones to activate the gateways?”

Great. It's a bomb... Katherine thought snidely. Katherine slowly pulled the leather briefcase out of the box and laid it on the crisp white desk in front of her. It was locked, but the key was tied to it with a silver ribbon so that she could easily open it. Katherine detached the key and unlocked the case, shutting her eyes in preparation for the explosion, she was almost sure would come. Nothing. Not a sound, let alone an explosion. Katherine slowly opened her eyes. She took her hand from the key and very warily opened the case. Inside was a brand new Apple Macbook laptop, the power Cord neatly rolled up beside the laptop.

Kate keeps examining the lone sheet of paper like a bingo player with a bingo card. “Think, Kate. Think,” she tells herself. “Try to recall everything you learned from that book.” The book she’s referring to is Codes, Ciphers, Steganography & Secret Messages, which she got from Booksale, a secondhand bookstore. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath to calm her nerves. When she opens her eyes again, her line of sight falls on the photo of her and the Bali Girls. Then her eyes jump to the words in the letter:

' Kate sent a picture. So Killian is with her. That's great. ....I think. 'I'm glad you're having fun.' I texted. 'Fun? That's an understatementtt' She sent me a few GIFs and pictures. Yup, she's enjoying way too much. 'Take it easy with all the sugar.' I texted with a smile. Kate's lucky. I'm stuck with a journal and she has started her fun weekend already. 'I decided to write a book.' I texted and took a picture of my laptop. It still shows '- chapter one -'.

He became really sensitive and always worried that I would leave him anytime. "Has Kate brought anything?" Aaron got the point. I thought about it for a while and said, "Do you mean...those books?" I was not sure about it because Kate didn't bring anything strange at that time. She only brought two or three books. --- Back at the mansion, Kate walked through the hallway after finishing some business files in her room. She had woken up feeling like today would bring something different. She creaked the door open and used her hand to pull down the spiderweb in front of an old shelf. She dusted the shelf and began pulling down some books. When she had removed enough, she discovered another layer—this one filled with scrolls. She pulled them down and opened a few, but they only had odd drawings.

Zelda the witch looked me up and down with deep, hollow eyes.
