I glared at Layla, "Don't give them any ideas." Kate looked star-struck seeing Layla and Kane, she had been wiping her glass many times now. "I am so nervous and excited at the same time. I never thought I would get to talk to the Golden Heirs." Alexa nodded, "Yeah. We are already lucky the goddess considered us friends. But to be in the same room with the other Golden Heirs, I think I will still be happy even if I flunk my major subject." Layla laughed. She was amused by my new friends. After all these girls were very different from Layla's fake friends.

She exclaimed excitedly, snatching the key up to her hands as she made her way out quickly. Karen peered the key through an old door knob. And when it finally opened, she stepped in slowly shutting the door behind. “Oh wow,” she proclaimed as she walked around the room admiring the sequential arrangements of different categories of books placed on the shelves. And when she spotted a big green book quoting “LYCANS” she grabbed it instantly, scrolling through the pages. “I guess this could be it” she muttered and while she turned to leave, she halted as soon as she saw an envelope dropped down the book.

Cela remains disappointed. "C'mon. It's not like they bought everything. They just thought of giving the books as Christmas presents apart from the corporate giveaways. You must know that your mother enjoyed your first book so much. Too bad that she passed before the second one is out," Nanny Rita continued. "You've always been loyal to her," Cela said.

Katerina went quiet, caught off guard. She stammered, "I-It's not like we're vacationing—it's for business." Mom jumped in. "Exactly! Katerina told me everything. It's work. Just one deal over there can bring in over $500,000!" I let out a short laugh. "With that kind of money, you'd think she could afford a few maids." "Maids? Absolutely not! Marcus grabs my waist and pushes me behind him, “Your highness.” He did a bow-like gesture. “What are you doing?” Marcus opens his mouth to say something but doesn’t. “ And do not even think about lying. Your job was to stay hidden and to keep your eyes on her.” The purple eyes slowly faded to gold and Marcus sighed.

The article about Shay was also there and I smirked when I read the headline right above a picture of her standing inside her office with a file in her hand, looking to the side; 'SAN FRANCISCO'S GOLDEN GIRL SECRETLY WORKING AT CARTWRIGHT & EVANS HOLDINGS!'
