Since they had known each other for a long time and nothing had been sudden, they wanted to make sure the media portrayed their background. "Here comes the gorgeous girl, Katherine Hughes," A woman declared over the microphone, and the media shifted their cameras to the entrance of the deck, where Katherine appeared with her mother and father on either side. She wore a gorgeous blue gown with little makeup on her face, which added a rosy beauty to her look which was fresh yet gorgeous.

he smirks. Katherine scoffs and shakes her head in disbelief, "I'm done with these gays," she lifts her hands in surrender and walks to the cashier.

Katherine heard from behind her. She managed to gather enough strength to glance behind her to see who was talking. It was the young Asian woman she had seen in the picture hanging on principal Kingsley's wall, dressed in sunny yellow and white. There were two other girls behind her, one a tall blonde, the other with rusty red hair and a crown of white lilies on her head, also from the pictures. Flushing with embarrassment, Katherine pushed herself up off the floor, her humiliation complete when the girl helped her up.

Katherine stood at the door frame wearing a light pink gown, giving her an angelic appearance. “Baby, where were you?” He jerked up on the bed. “I missed you so much..” He mumbled, stretching his hand out for her. “Glad you missed me..” Her juicy lips curved into a naughty grin as she walked near his bed. He watched her climb over and straddled him. “..because I want you to miss me just the way I miss you..” She whispered seductively against his lips, so that he could feel her breath against his lips.

Eiana’s POV “Maybe you guys will finally fuck tonight.” Katherine’s voice crackled through my phone, which I’d propped against the bathroom wall while I touched up my makeup. Her dark curls bounced as she leaned closer to the screen, eyes alight with mischief. “It’s not a proper truce without an orgasm to seal the deal.” “Katherine.” “What?” she said innocently. “You deserve some fun after working your butt off these past few weeks.” A pause followed, then the sound of her keyboard clacking furiously. Her pet snake, Jasper, draped around her neck like a silk scarf, flicked his tongue near the camera.

Okay then, you go ahead, I'll drive," Katherine then walked inside and got dressed fully in her military uniform after which she walked out. She soon got inside the car and drove over to the office of the god of war from Aurora Island. She stepped down from the car confidently but honestly, she was still a little nervous. She then walked straight to the entrance of the building, she met a woman dressed in a different military uniform than hers, apparently, one of the escorts of the god of war from Aurora Island. "Surgeon General Katherine, right?" The female officer asked. "Yes," Katherine answered. The female officer saluted her and said, "I'm General Kimberly. General Christopher's assista

Katherine said with a wink, making Chloe laugh. "No, don't send him a full photo, let's tease him." Chloe said in a mischievous tone, making them chuckle at the plan. "Okay, let's do this! Did he call you yet?" B Katherine asked as she and Katherine started to take half photos of her where her full face wasn't visible or only her hair or part of body was visible. Perfect for teasing him! "He didn't but don't worry. It will do the work." Chloe said with a smirk as she took the phone away from their hands and sent those photos from their phones only, instead of her.

She slowly sat down before opening the message from unanimous person. Katherine's face darkened upon taking a look at her phone. It wasn't an ordinary message at all. There were pictures of Rock and a beautiful young lady leaning so close to each other. The pictures were taken from different angles and, with how close they were, she could picture them kissing vividly. Katherine bit her lips in anger, jealousy washing over her as she flung the phone onto the couch, while folding her arms to her chest with a roll of her eyes. "He acts like a saint. Now, that I'm not around, I hope you can flirt a lot with them." she huffed angrily, leaning her back against the sofa.

"I don't want to see him right now." Katherine hid behind Vincent's large back. She spoke softly to him. Gilbert Grande and she both shared the same surname Grande. When they met face to face, wouldn’t he recognize her easily? He was no fool, even if the whole world saw her as Katherine Jeremy, he would always recognize his niece. Because after everything he'd done, he'd been looking for her all these years. Currently, she only knew some basic information about the current Hologram Corporation. She couldn't appear in front of him right now. Surely his powerful influence could crush her hope as easily as a hand, no matter how talented Vincent Blythe was still somewhat afraid of him.

“…You had no right —” “I don’t need your permission —” “Don’t you dare speak to me like that in my company—” People flinched. A stapler dropped. Someone faked a phone call. Someone else literally escaped to the bathroom. Only one person didn’t hide. Katherine strolled in, wearing his trench coat over a deep green dress and combat boots. Her curls were wild, her eyeliner sharp, and her smirk slightly too wide for 8 AM. She held a croissant in one hand and her tablet in the other, muttering, “Looks like someone’s having a full Monday special.”
