His Hunger, My Curse

His Hunger, My Curse

The air grew cooler as they descended deeper into the stronghold, the glow of the strange symbols casting eerie shadows on the walls. Cassian stayed close, his warmth a quiet reassurance at her side. Dorian, however, remained a step behind, his golden eyes narrowed in suspicion. The corridor opened into a vast chamber lined with towering shelves of ancient tomes and scrolls. A single table sat in the center, its surface covered in parchment, as if someone had been studying something urgent before their arrival. The woman stopped and turned to face Lena. “My name is High Keeper Idris,” she said. “I am one of the last remaining guardians of the Trueborn records.”

Dark Enchantment

Dark Enchantment

With the picture tucked securely in my pocket, I left Elara’s room, and took a walk back to my own room, locking the door behind me. “Anima in tenebris, levate vis, ignis in ferro, puritatem in sanguine.” I whispered, allowing the cloaking spell that had hidden my athame collection to lift like a veil. Tonight’s sacrifice would be unlike any other. It had to be special; it had to be memorable for Elara. I envisioned her holding her own blade, a pristine weapon untouched by the sins of my past.

The Witch's Protector

The Witch's Protector

“What do you mean the heiress of the Protector, Jackson?” Mr. Jackson sighed and stopped digging the ground. “The Sacred Land buried some important clues about the second Protector.” Auntie Caroline inhaled. “The Second Protector was an heiress?” Mr. Jackson nodded. “Clayton started to research about it!” He put his shovel again to shove some ground and made a big hole enough to bury all three dead rabbit bodies.

The Elf King and His Bodyguard

The Elf King and His Bodyguard

"This is as close as I could get to The Bastion and still use my magic." It was like a ruin. A raised rotunda circled by carved pillars held a barely closed room, looking to the north. The greenery threatened to invade, wrapping around the column bases. It was the maze's heart. Violet started toward it, holding Eden's hand. "Have you gone inside?" He shook his head, letting himself be dragged along. "I'll go anywhere you want, you know that." "Even if guards might find us any moment?" "No risk, no reward."

Keeper of my Heart

Keeper of my Heart

"Alright, I need to shower and change, so you need to leave. Thank you for breakfast also, that was delicious." Harken just shrugs with a small smile. "Wasn't me who made it, I think Karl has some chef that works here sometimes." He turns and practically slumps his way out the door and closes it behind him, the entire room now filled with a frigid air even after he leaves. Noel tries to brush it off and gets out of bed, kicking her duffle bag sitting on the floor. Looking inside, she notices her sketch book is sticking out more than she remembers.

The Pack's Secret Keeper

The Pack's Secret Keeper

he replied, his voice warm. “And why do you say that?” Aislen found herself smiling back at him. There was something entirely engaging about him, she thought, something that sucked a person into his warmth and made them want to confess to all manner of things. Not a werewolf, she tried to think logically. No, Leighton Richard wasn’t a werewolf, nor was he a vampire. But he was something… something supernatural. “Because, I am not,” he replied. “You are the Secret Keeper.”

Excellent writing, character and story development. Love the back and forth between times. Author Keeps your emotions and interest high. Be prepared to be in this for the long haul as there are several books but well worth the read!

This is so much more than a werewolf/supernatural romance. It got me hooked up from chapter 1. It is extremely well written and deals with a lot of contemporary issues in such a honest, meaningful and beautiful way while delivering a engaging plot! Eager to read the rest of the series!

Marrying My Ex’s Billionaire Uncle.

Marrying My Ex’s Billionaire Uncle.

She slowly reached into her pocket. The sparrow ring. The one Richard had hidden beneath his bed. Almost without thinking, she pressed it against the center of the lock. A soft click echoed through the chamber. The gate swung open. Richard stepped out. He looked at Amelia with pride. “Now you understand.” She frowned. “Understand what?” “The Keeper was never meant to inherit power.” Richard placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. “The Keeper exists…” “…to make sure no one else ever does.” Before Amelia could respond, every light in the chamber suddenly flashed bright white.

Enchanting Night

Enchanting Night

I looked up in shock. I met his merciless gaze and saw the threat in his eyes. His features remained gentle, but they no longer resembled the face of the deeply affectionate man I remembered from the past. I stared at him stubbornly, my eyes bloodshot. "I won't!" To my surprise, when I said that, he pulled out a remote control from his pocket. "There's a bomb buried beneath the cemetery, Jodi. Don't force me." He called my name, but it sounded more like the devil's whisper.

The Succubus's Unwanted Keeper

The Succubus's Unwanted Keeper

In front of both of them, I dialed a number. "There's trash here. Send someone to clean it up." I had just sent one set of trash away. Then the doorbell rang again. When I opened it, Joe stood there with a smile. He set a parcel on the table—supplements good for a succubus, meant to ease the agony of my heat. They were rare and precious; he'd thought to bring them. "Have you decided?" he asked gently. "Want to consider a new master? I'll take responsibility."

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

"Then why are you still here? If you truly wanted to be deleted, you wouldn't be guarding the door! You’re just as afraid of the end as we are!" The Other Kaima froze. For a second, the gray in her eyes flickered, revealing a flash of the same violet fire that burned in mine. "I am the guardian of the trash," she whispered. "If I let you through, the Creator will notice. He’ll delete the whole drive. I’m protecting the pieces that are left!" "You're not protecting them! You're burying them!" I dipped the quill into the air. I didn't write about walls or swords. I wrote about Recognition.
