“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

"They continue growing as long as the story continues to inspire someone." Hope looked up into the tree's endless branches. High above, new leaves were unfolding. Tiny leaves. Brand new. Our story was still growing. "My name," the woman said with a graceful bow, "is Vera." "I am the Gardener of Stories." Void folded his arms. "I had a feeling we'd meet another Keeper." Vera laughed warmly. "Oh, no." She shook her head. "Keepers protect light." "I protect what the light becomes." She gently touched one fresh leaf.

The Marked Mate of the Lycan King

The Marked Mate of the Lycan King

"Only those of the blood can turn that lock. Are you Elena’s girl?" I took a step back, keeping the desk between us. "I'm Esmeralda. Who are you? How long have you been down here?" The old man stepped into the light. His eyes were milky with cataracts, but he seemed to see me well enough. He let out a soft, wheezing laugh. "Too long, child. I am the Keeper. I was forgotten by the Council forty years ago when they decided the truth was too dangerous to keep in the light. They think this room is sealed. They don't know about the belfry door."

Pact of Blood

Pact of Blood

Dave whispered. He didn't know how he knew the name, but the word felt like a key turning in a rusted lock. The apparition turned. Her face was beautiful but featureless, like a mask of polished stone. She was a Keeper of the Ancient Order, a guardian of the stories that had been buried. "You have woven a fragile peace," the spirit said, her voice sounding like the wind whistling through hollow reeds. "You carved the world anew from the ashes of the Great War. But the tapestry is fraying."

Rejected: The Lycan's King Fated Mate

Rejected: The Lycan's King Fated Mate

“I’ve seen them before.” The keeper didn’t look up. “Many have them,” she said, voice rough. “Not like that,” Aria said. “Not the old script. Pre-Crown.” The keeper finally met her eyes. Gray. Old. Tired. “You read the tablets,” she said. Aria nodded. “And you were there when they were carved.” The keeper didn’t deny it. She just turned the apple core in her fingers. “I watched you remember,” she said. “I watched you choose mornings over war.”

Alpha Dante

Alpha Dante

I said, extending my hand for him to shake, letting him know that I meant them no harm “daughter of Beta, or in other words, ex beta, Mattia D’Angelo and Gabriella D’Angelo. Keeper of the Guardian’s Eye, and as a relation to you, I believe that I am brother’s mate…” “You have clearly lost your mind if you expect me to believe that” Dante said, and I raised an eyebrow, pulling my hand back when I saw that he wouldn’t shake it. “You can ask your Compass of Secrets” I said, looking at Alessandro who frowned. He knew the legends well, and I knew that they didn’t choose him as keeper for no reason. The keepers were the only ones who knew the REAL legends behind the compass and eye, and both toget

Excellent book. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. There were many twists, turns and surprises. In so many books you can predict what will happen next, but this was unpredictable. I loved reading this book. This book is a must read. I

I am enjoying this book. As previously stated, there are many twists and turn and so so not predictable. I am only about 3/4 finished but don’t want it to end. I plan on reading other books by Crystal. Two thumbs up

The Creature In The Walls

The Creature In The Walls

He said matter of factly. She shuddered and grasped Roger’s hand tightly. But the story was captivating and she had to know. “Tell me.” She whispered. “I guess it makes sense that it was a door that shouldn’t be opened.” Roger contemplated. “Legend says that a keeper is a servant of the king. It is released on someone’s enemies and will devour an entire village. They are stealthy and we would not have known about them had you not survived the first attack. We have to be thankful for that.”

My Sister's Keeper

My Sister's Keeper

I didn’t have to be told he’d be out for the rest of the day. THE BANK CLERK held out her hand. “Your key, Mr. McGillikin?” She was youthful with long curly hair streaked with highlights, an early tan, and thick eyebrows. Scott’s eyes dropped to the gap in her blouse—open just enough to expose the top of a breast—then to his billfold. Digging into a hidden slot, he extracted a small brass key and laid it in the palm of her hand. Her eyes rose to his. “Aren’t you the McGillikin that my daddy built that new yawl for?”

The Stories Of Those Around Us

The Stories Of Those Around Us

Black's POV I could hear a knock on my door as I just finished fixing my bed. "Black, breakfast is ready downstairs." My aunt said. "I'll be back tonight." "Take care, Aunt Autumn." I replied. Autumn Vera, or Aunt Autumn as I call her, is my aunt that took me in after both my mom and dad passed away. She's a very kind person that agreed to take care of me despite not even talking properly with her before.

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Darius, finally shaking off the daze from the siren's song, chimed in, "So, a test of heart and mind? Great. One wasn't hard enough." A sudden rustling in the underbrush startled them, and out stepped a cloaked figure, their face obscured by a hood. "Brave travelers," the figure began in a soft voice, "you've passed the Raven's test, but many more await. The Serpent and the Rose are but the beginning." Cassandra, always the bold one, stepped forward. "Who are you? Friend or foe?" The cloaked figure lowered their hood, revealing a face of both young and old, with eyes that held centuries of wisdom. "I am neither. I am the Keeper of Tales, a neutral guardian. I am here to guide, not to hinder

His 2 Story

His 2 Story

For me it was a work of seconds all I had to do was to say and it was supposed to happen. I told you earlier, I'm the one who's responsible for everything and I'm the one who's lead in this story of paranormal timelines. Because I'm the Narrator, and whatever the hell I say is supposed to happen. It's nature, and I'm the creator of nature, I'm nature myself…?
