Even after having the power, he was unhappy. He lost his brother, his love, and his mother, who was now living with Trevor. Kevin was in the study room. He was reading a file when he got a message from Elara's number. “Elara is in danger! Come to Nailon Lake and save her.”

“Luna Eloise, you forgot your book.” Her stomach dropped, she turned back hesitantly. Kevin held out the book, the very one she had been searching for. She forced another smile, stepping forward to take it. “Thanks.” She backed away, then turned and hurried down the hall. Kevin remained in place, watching her limp away until she disappeared. Then, his eyes darkened. He reached out to Ainsley, through the Mind link. Ainsley answered immediately. “Ten minutes ago, Luna Eloise entered your study,” Kevin reported. “She said she was looking for a book, but she left in a hurry and even forgot to take it.”
