Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

Queen liked the young man very much. Kevin was well-spoken. He was considerate of the other party’s age when having a conversation. When he was chatting with elders, he would only talk about interesting things from the past. Although he was not from their era, he heard a lot of stories from his grandmother. He seemed to have endless topics to talk about, so his elders often regarded him as a friend. When chatting with middle-aged women like Mrs. Queen, Kevin would talk about the life events of their children, cooking recipes, and other topics of interest.

Thus far the book ... was compelling but disappointed that there is no ending to the novel. I planned on reading another book after this but with this experience why would I since there might not be and ending to that one as well! Bummer! Please do better so you don’t loose customers in the future.

Ex-Husband's Regret: I'm sorry I loved You too late

Ex-Husband's Regret: I'm sorry I loved You too late

Patients. Work. Schedules. Complaints. Random observations. The sort of conversation they had almost daily now. Easy. Comfortable. Familiar. At some point, Kevin casually mentioned that he was heading toward a bookstore after work. Avery had mentioned wanting a particular children's book during one of her previous visits to the hospital and apparently he had remembered. The fact that he remembered at all caught Katelyn off guard. He noticed immediately. "What?" "Nothing." "That was definitely something."

Sinfully Yours

Sinfully Yours

Kevin is bombarded by the media next, and I realize he's not just another player, he seems extremely important. "That was the most fun I had in fucking ages!"Phoebe hugs me. "Thank you so much, I needed that, especially after those bitches got me stressed out at work." "Yo, Simpson!" Kevin calls down from the field, ignoring the girls and other fans vying for his attention. "Oh my god, introduce me!" Phoebe practically pinches me, so I walk down to hang over the railing. "I didn't know you were such a superstar." I smile down at Kevin. "Congrats on the win."

HOW THE THICK GIRL STOLE THE PRINCE'S HEART

HOW THE THICK GIRL STOLE THE PRINCE'S HEART

I hiss. The twins and Kevin are deep in conversation discussing the latest episode of Supernatural. “Oh, is it one of your one-night stands or should I say one-flight stands?" Kevah quirks an eyebrow at me. “Is it Patsy?" She guffaws. Jesus Christ, she's never going to let that go. “No, it's not Patsy, I didn't even save her number."

Good morning guys. I feel your frustration and to be honest with you, I don’t have any new chapters for this book as yet. But I promise you I am not giving up on this story. Just pray that I find the strength and the yearning to finish it. Again thank you for the love and sweet reviews.

Thought the story was gonna be a shallow read but I was wrong. Very emotional & realistic plotline. Wasn't expecting much but the writer surprised the heck out of me. Us big girls are gonna get a kick out of this one. I hope the writer doesn't drop the ball or else she's gonna have 1 pi$$ed off fan.

The Billionaire Hockey King Stole A Kiss From Me

The Billionaire Hockey King Stole A Kiss From Me

He still wasn’t looking at me, and he wasn’t taking this conversation seriously. “The Ice King I know has never bothered about any of my members before,” he added lightly. I walked up to Kevin as though I was going to eat him up and said, “Because I know him, Kevin, and I want to know what he came here for,” I demanded. My tone and nearness made Kevin realize that this wasn’t a child’s place, so he had to stop whatever the heck he was doing and look at me. “What is going on?” He asked me.

The Choice

The Choice

"What we need right now are more people" Kevin spoke angrily, looking at all of us. I told them about all the stuff that's been going on, the dead girl and the note. They were shocked but I know that everyone knew at some point this would happen, it didn't take us long to start discussing what we should do.

she asked, exasperated. Kevin smirked. "This is work, too! We'll be working together on the acquisition soon. I'm naturally shy and reserved, not a people person at all. But I do have one passion: watching movies. To make sure we work well together, it's essential we spend some time off work—starting with this movie." Marcia shook her head, both amused and exasperated. After everything with Elijah earlier, maybe she needed a break in a space free from him. Kevin wasn't the kind of person she'd usually confide in, but he did have an odd way of helping her relax.

‘I want to drink more first. She laughed. “I think we are bad influence on you, Vi. Whatever your grumpy bear would say?” I looked at her, my mind going back to what he had said to me. ‘I don’t want to talk about him. ‘ She acted to zip her lips and then ruined it by saying, “What about my brother, should we talk about him?” I smiled. ‘He is nice.’ “And he is here.” Kevin muttered. Leaning forward he plucked the smallest glass from her. “I think you’ve had enough.”

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

Is it right for him to talk about his father like this if he was his brother-in-law? "But how did you find out about me?" David was sure no one could find out about anything until he wanted to, but this boy was too fast; he even got into his system without effort. "Brother-in-law, I majored in computing; I like playing around," Kevin said with a shy smile as if he was playing around; David wanted to vomit blood; if he called this playing around, then he was a good player in David's eyes. "Tell me the truth," David asked seriously, and Kevin knew he shouldn't mess around anymore.

Love the story but the beginning of each chapter the 1st page repeats what was from the last page of the last chapter, which isn’t fair when we are paying for chapters. If that was not happening and the spelling and some of the sentences were correctly written this would definitely be a 5star story.

wow, this book is so interesting and I can not get enough, and I am still wondering how many more chapters are still left for me to finish the whole book and I can't wait to find out who will finally destroy Alina Martin and also I want more on Kate and David's future and their children's happy life

TEACH ME HOW TO BURN (AN MXM SPICY COLLECTION)

TEACH ME HOW TO BURN (AN MXM SPICY COLLECTION)

Kevin’s eyes lingered a second too long before he forced them back to the TV. They ordered food, cracked open beers, and settled into their usual spots on the big sectional couch. The conversation started light—Mike complaining about the crowded gym, Kevin venting about a tight deadline—but underneath it all was the memory of the other night. It hung in the air like static electricity. Halfway through the pizza, Mike wiped his hands on a napkin and leaned back, legs spread wide. “So… we gonna talk about it or keep pretending nothing happened?” Kevin nearly choked on his beer. He set the bottle down, heart suddenly pounding. “Talk about what?”

Frequently Asked Questions

Okay, so this is actually a trickier question than it seems. The novel 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' is entirely told through the letters of Eva Khatchadourian. So in terms of the narrator and the perspective we’re trapped inside, Eva is absolutely the protagonist. We experience every agonizing moment through her eyes—her doubts about motherhood, her fraying marriage, her gut-wrenching horror after the school incident. But the book is about Kevin, her son. He’s the gravitational center that warps everything. You could argue he’s the main character because the entire plot is Eva trying to understand him, to piece together whether he was born that way or if she made him that way. Lionel Shriver never gives us Kevin’s direct thoughts, which is the whole point. He’s this terrifying, enigmatic void we only see reflected in Eva’s shattered mirror.

The film adaptation with Tilda Swinton, which is also brilliant, makes Eva even more visually central. But the book’s genius is in its structural ambiguity. It forces you to ask who the story truly belongs to: the one telling it or the one it’s being told about. I lean towards Eva because her psychological journey is the one we’re on, even if the destination is always Kevin.
