Augusta looked like a total winter wonderland, sparkling and gleaming in white and silver as rays of sunshine peeked through streaks of breaking clouds.
They just got off from the airport, and was met by their rent-a-car service. K had insisted that it wasn't necessary, since the Augusta State Airport was just a sixteen-minute drive from her mom and grandparents' home. But Jesse repeatedly asked her for it, saying he wanted to drive and visit the locale, see some of the whereabouts in her hometown while they were there. K caved in, finding the idea sweet that he wanted to explore the places she grew up in and loved during her childhood.
