The King of the Underworld commands in a voice close to a lullaby.

Only I knew this was the prelude to his rage. Beside us, Ryder was already drenched in sweat. He never could have imagined that the Emilia he had trampled underfoot had transformed into the queen of the underworld, the Donna of the Vettori family. Seeing how close Zayn and I were, a crazed spark of jealousy, fueled by some unknown courage, flashed in Ryder's eyes.
