That smile could brighten even the darkest night. “So, is the rumor true?” The girl leaned forward, studying me intently before turning her attention back to Jadelynn. “Did you hear it from Pauline?” she deadpanned. “Nope. From the new Biology teacher. She said that you two were kissing outside of her classroom and it was the hottest thing she saw in her entire life. Matt said to Aaron in his office after a just concluded fruitful signed contract. “My girlfriend? My girlfriend at your cousin’s school? I looked up at him to see him looking at me. "Sorry, but....I just missed you" he said shyly. I smiled at him. "I liked it" I replied. He smiles. "Okay everyone, please have your seat." the principal walked in. We all rushed to our seat. "Miss Moretti, hope you're feeling better. We will make sure to find those trouble makers. I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that I was just kissed by the guy I was waiting for.

“Because I was excited to see you, teacher. I missed you yesterday.” Her heart softened at his words. She last saw him on Saturday night when they had dinner with Jarrel. The kiss was slow and tender, nothing like the frantic, desperate kisses of theast two days. This one… felt like good bye. She pulled back, her eyes searching mine with mischief dancing behind them. I tease her. “Because you’re a smart man.” She tells me and I smirk at her. When I sit down beside her I lean in and kiss her. “Mr. Martinze, keep the PDA to a minimum or I will move you somewhere else.” The bitch teacher calls me out. River giggles to herself. “You thought that was real funny, didn’t you Riv?” She just looks ahead at the front of the class with a smile on her face. I enjoy seeing her happy like this. I hope I can keep that smile on her face for a while.
