Hi guys. How are you all doing? I know you’ve been anticipating a chapter update for a while now and I even promised to round up the book this month. I really meant it but… Unfortunately Aurora cannot be updated for now because my laptop has gone bad and the cost of fixing it is something I can’t afford right now. I wish I could update from my phone but that’s not possible due to the fact that the writing app I use isn’t available on IOS. Sincere apologies🙏

His personal laptop. Aurora snapped it open and pressed the power button, it made a small chiming sound and her eyes flickered warily to the door. The screen showed that it was still rebooting and when it finally cleared, she was shocked to see that it wasn't password protected. "Wow, Evan, for an evil mastermind, you sure know how to give easy access," She swallowed and went straight to his files and then clicked on images.

Aura said, making Max want to protest. "But, Miss..." Max's objection had to be abandoned because Aura was unwilling to be contradicted again! Aura glared playfully, pretending to be angry, making Max raise his hands, surrendering to the stubbornness of his boss. Max reluctantly joined the others, leaving Aura alone on the sofa, busy playing with her phone while occasionally sipping her drink. Relaxing in her solitude. Honestly, this is what Aura likes. Tranquility in solitude. Something hard to come by after diving into the world of entertainment. For Aura, solitude and tranquility are luxuries that are hard to come by.

Aurora said quietly, trying to comfort herself, though her words were loud enough for the counter lady to respond. “Sure,” the girl said, turning her attention back to Aurora. “Please, I need a small mobile phone. Where can I get one, and how much will it cost?” Aurora asked. “The phone shop is pretty far, but I can help you order one online,” the lady replied. Aurora nodded in agreement. After searching for a moment, the lady found the options. “A small mobile phone is $70, and a mini smartphone is $170. Which one would you prefer?”

Nicholas questioned, gently setting me down on the ground. Kiyan and Aura both snapped their heads to us, and that’s when the tension intensified. Kiyan grabbed onto Parker and dragged him along behind him, before stopping in front of me and saying, “Aura is trying to convince everyone that Parker over here is his mate. And if that’s not bad enough, she wants to take him with her no doubt to treat him like another one of her slaves. And then, you’ll use him for some kind of agenda, just like you’re using my sister.” Aura stormed behind him, furious to the point that her eyes were filled with a fiery shade of red and smoke emitted from her fingertips.

A tiny dot blinked from the middle of the phone so I turned it on and found a missed call without a name. The same number again and I allowed it to ring but I didn't pick. I was about to put the phone into her bag when a message popped which called out my attention. The deed has been done. There was a smirking emoji beside the message which got me worried about who Aurora had been talking to. I couldn't unlock her phone as I didn't know her password. The caller called again and I picked it, wanting to know what was going on. "Hi, Aurora. I hope you are safe in that mansion," His voice was laced with worry, but what caught my attention was his surprising question.

In my mind? Is this day going to get any worse?. However I decide not to freak out, to at least see where all this is going to. Because I really need answers. Desperately. "Okay, so who are you? And why are you in my head?. Wait...better question. How on Earth are u in my head?" "We share a bond Azura. I can communicate with you through that bond". The sweet voice said again. Is that really necessary? That happens in real life?

“Externally.” Silence. She stood and walked to the display. “AURA is a neural adaptive AI designed to learn from one mind at a time. It doesn’t harvest data. It’s Caleb’s turn to watch her, not that she has a choice or is aware of that yet, but I’m sure once she feels better, she is going to hit the roof.
