Sang-woo was back to training with Soo-ah, sparring lightly beneath the hanging lights.
Yuri sat on the fountain, feet dangling into the cool water.
Koji approached silently.
“You used to whistle when you walked,” she said without looking.
“I forgot how,” Koji replied.
She turned.
His hair was longer. A scar now curved across his cheek. But his eyes—those eyes hadn’t changed.
“Ren okay?” she asked.
“Healing. Regretful.”
