Charlotte Hayes' POV We went to Jake's agency, which Damien owns. I naturally wore the long silky red gown he had bought for me, along with a matching pair of glass slippers. I wore round black glasses and a black bucket hat to avoid drawing attention to myself. My heels clacked every time they collided with the slick floor as I walked gently through the corridor. Everyone in the room was staring at me. Who wouldn't notice Damien's firm grip on my soft, left hand as we walk?

I finally said that I would and now we were on our way to Paris, to meet up with her at her condo. Then he responded, “It seems like you know Athena quite well, don’t you? By the way, what’s your name?” He extended his hand to her. “Giselle Willow, daughter of the owner of Willowspot Corporation. You’ve probably seen me in the media,” Giselle replied, shaking his hand smugly. “I’m Athena’s half-sister—well, I used to be, but now I’m an only child since Athena was cast out of our family.”

She would be better off eating room service food at the hotel instead of cramped here, especially when her feet hurt from her high heels. "The person in charge from the organizer is Lisa Parker, but I didn't see her." Giselle pushed her glasses. "Did you not see her, or you don't know her?" Lily suspected she might not have actually met the organizer. A look of embarrassment appeared on Giselle's face that Lily had never seen before. Even so, Giselle said thoughtfully, "Yes, I’ve never met the organizers, but I have their photos, and I looked at them carefully. I can recognize her if I see her."

Belinda was sure that there would have been a sickening crunch under other circumstances and, judging from where she hit the woman, there might have been a fifty/fifty chance she would have ever walked again. But Isabelle was different now and she merely turned round to see just who of the assembled group had the nerve to try (and fail) to inflict such injury upon her. Belinda was sure that, when she saw her prey in full view, Isabelle’s eyes glowed, just a little bit.
