A figure slowly emerged within the glow. Lyra's breath caught. The guardians immediately lowered their heads. Kael froze. Completely froze. The woman standing within the light was beautiful. Silver hair. Silver eyes. A flowing white gown woven from living starlight. She looked exactly as she had appeared in the visions. The First Queen. Or at least an echo of her. The room fell silent as the Lycan Queen stepped inside. Her presence was commanding, dressed in a deep blue gown that shimmered like water in the morning light. She moved gracefully, her head held high. But as others stood and bowed to her, she didn’t look at them.
