Betrayed by Ex, Married to Billionaire

Betrayed by Ex, Married to Billionaire

Her gaze was fixed ahead, searching for the small, freshly tended grave that had occupied her thoughts for months. > “I… I hope you can hear me,” she whispered, her voice breaking. Her hands trembled as she knelt beside the tiny headstone. It was simple—just a small slab of polished marble, engraved with her baby’s name and dates too short to encompass a lifetime. Fresh flowers rested on the soil, petals slick with morning dew. > “I’m sorry… I didn’t protect you. I… I wasn’t there…” Tears welled up, spilling over as she pressed her palm against the cool stone. Her chest ached with a pain that had never fully healed. It wasn’t just loss—it was regret, guilt, and love entwined so tightly it th

The Mafia Boss Special Slave

The Mafia Boss Special Slave

With a deep breath, Loretta struggled to her feet. She brushed herself off, wincing at the scrapes. Despair wrapped around her like a shroud. She walked, her feet heavy, one step at a time, homeward bound, lost in sorrow. Tears cascaded unrestrained down her face. My heart was bleeding for Mercy, for Fabian, for everything that happened. Regret, the weight was pulling me down. As night began to fall, Loretta trudged on, alone. Never had freedom been this hollow.

Alpha's Moonborn Mate

Alpha's Moonborn Mate

At this point it exactly felt as the poets have described it in their songs, "A pup grows up to resemble his wolf father, And a tree grows from its roots. My pain resembles a mountain of atrocities, As in every part of my body it shoots. Like a thunderbolt it strikes my heart, And like a heavy downpour of rain on a cold stormy night it slaps my face pale. It calls my body numb and dead, As tears of agony, thick and salty, down the curves of my cheeks trail. This ache grazes my patience, Making me beg with every breath. It leaves no other wishes in my heart, And I wish I die, I die to death. Because it's insufferable.' Heaving a thick shaky breath Alan wiped his tears as he couldn't keep the

My Stepbrother, My Mate

My Stepbrother, My Mate

Xavier*** I rise—slow, trembling—like a man being dragged from a grave. Every muscle screams, raw and unrelenting, as if grief itself has shredded my skin, replacing it with jagged shards of fire. My bones are burning, my heart a hollow echo, a beat I don't deserve. I gasp for air, but each breath feels like swallowing broken glass, tearing me open again. My fingers curl into fists, not from strength, but to stop them from shaking with the violence of loss. Power lingers beneath my skin, volatile and grief-soaked, pulsing with every heartbeat that shouldn't exist without him.

Luna's Regret: With Child For The Alpha

Luna's Regret: With Child For The Alpha

She was engulfed in profound sorrow. "Please open up," I pleaded, my voice filled with desperate longing. Yet, the door remained resolute, a barrier between us. "Please, Lora," I implored, my composure wavering. Silence enveloped us, save for the faint sound of her stifled sobs. The mere sight of her anguish shattered my heart into countless pieces, an unbearable ache that gripped my very being.

He knew he had no right to ask for her forgiveness. The trauma swept through everyone like a wildfire, leaving indelible scars in its wake. Life would go on, but the longing and regret would never cease.

A Contract The Empire Couldn't Break

A Contract The Empire Couldn't Break

Lillian’s words spoken without anger or plea. The phrase public mourning appeared in headlines by noon, but it was not quite accurate. This was not grief for celebrities or fallen leaders. It was grief for parents who had never been properly mourned. For a loss that had been administratively absorbed and now returned to human scale. Lillian did not leave the house that morning. She watched from the balcony as a woman across the street placed a single white lily on the curb, hesitated, then added a note folded so carefully it looked like an offering rather than paper.

THE ATTRACTION OF DOUBT

THE ATTRACTION OF DOUBT

The moon shines on me like a spotlight on a condemned man. I am alone. But I am searching for her. Because she is all that remains pure to me. Even if I must walk until dawn. Even if she no longer wants me. I must tell her. I must tell her she was right. And that I have been wrong from the beginning. I walk. I drag my regrets through the mud. I am a wounded wolf. And she is the ash on my tongue. The fire I failed to keep. The wind tears the breath from me.

Beneath The Scars

Beneath The Scars

Could it be that he got fed up with me or he lost interest in me but there again if my own family left me why won't someone I met not long ago. Thinking of this I did not realize the droplet of water that flowed through my eyes . You never really know how much someone means to you until you loose that person . There is a pain within this heart, My pain within my sadness through my eyes, My eyes are like a burden that you can see right through, No pain I ever felt was that single broken heart that, There is way out of this pain but somehow I can't see it , See the light , the hope ,the happiness I once wanted to feel , Now I ever feel is this saddness , this pain, this heartache, A pain withi

VAMP

VAMP

I yelled before i fell to the ground, my arms folded to support me. There was crack in my voice as i succumbed to the tears that proceeded to fall down my cheeks. "Mama" I struggled so weakly to withdraw before i fell to the ground. "She's gone-" I whispered. "She's gone" Gloria added as she broke into tears. **** I warned you guys, even I'm with tissues here -bottom line is always listen to the narrator, i mean you could have gotten a hint from the short poem. Its hard to find love, In a world that offers so little,

Amid, all the conventional stories, VAMP fearlessly holds its ground. I sincerely appreciate the author for hitting an unconventional world background blended with a murder mystery. Excellent book, I would definitely continue to to see how the story unfolds. 5/5 for the notable efforts.
