Larry walked in and said to the two men watching over them, "My father asked that I show you two something in that smaller room. Come with me." The men followed him, unaware of what was coming. Larry slowed down, let them go inside the small room, then quickly slammed the door shut and locked it. The room had been laced with chemicals strong enough to knock any human unconscious. He wasted no time pulling a small table knife from his back pocket and cutting Captain Smith loose. Captain Smith immediately began untying Alicia, who looked at Larry, confused. "We have to leave now, Captain," Larry said urgently. "Before the boys outside come back. I don’t know how long my father will be gone."

There were neat, small sticky notes poking out from almost every single chapter. I opened to the first marked page. In Maverick’s handwriting, there was a note that read: “Does page 14 mean the data moves faster if you shorten the string? Let me know if I got that right.” I stared at the note, my heart feeling so light that I felt like a teenager again. I looked up at him, completely stunned. It's Aaron. Though, I haven't seen this Aaron before, but I've heard of his achievements as a Walker and CEO of M&M Corporation. How does he have anything to do with you?” Larry asked like a curious child, and I sighed, sucking in my breath before exhaling.
