I thought she was calling to explain. But the first thing she said after I answered was, "Did you see that video online? "Evan, don't overthink it. "He was driving long-distance for the first time. I was just on the same route." My knuckles turned white around the steering wheel. "On the same route for three hundred miles, Vanessa?" The other end of the call went silent for two seconds. Then her tone sharpened with impatience. "You're still on the interstate. Can you not get emotional right now?

Liam takes the wheel, his knuckles white against the black plastic as he floors the accelerator, throwing us out into the chaotic, rain-slicked traffic of the midnight highway. The drive is a nightmare of flashing red lights and distant sirens. Every police cruiser we pass seems to turn its head toward us. I sit in the passenger seat, clutching my burnt forearm, staring out the cracked windshield as the sprawling, decaying suburbs give way to the dense, foreboding woodlands of the northern ridge. "They know we're heading north," I murmur, watching the digital dashboard flicker as interference washes over the van's radio. "The toll cameras caught us on the bridge."

Jenna picks up the tin and they both walk back to the car. After they get in and lock the doors Emily tries to start the car and all it does is make a clicking sound. "Hold on. Did you leave the lights on in the car?" Jenna asks. " "No, did you? I never turned them on?" Emily searches for something under the seat. She finds it and looks around for anyone else who can help them. Everyone else has left for the evening, and it's starting to get dark out. "Now what do we do?" Jenna asks. Emily turns to her and smiles. "Don't worry. I have a flashlight and we can walk up to the Ranger's station. They can give us a lift into town."

Remembering that we were close friends before we decided to marry each other, I didn't expect us to be brothers-in-law now. "Okay, sorry, but can you please call Adam? I'm really begging you. If Adam isn't here, I'll probably be a name tomorrow," I pleaded. "Yes, Miss, I will call Mr. Adam." The woman walked away. As she disappeared behind the wall, I caught sight of a black car that had just pulled into the driveway. Shortly afterward, Gavin appeared to get out of the vehicle. I paused. How could that man have come so early? Seeing as I was already awake, could his next move be to kill me? No, I can't die here. I can't give my life to that man.

A feeling of dread came over him when he remembered the last time he tried sneaking out. Was it worth it? To the best of his knowledge, Xander wouldn't bat an eyelash if he was caught. Dante held the file tightly and returned to the barn. Then he heard it. "No… no…no, please. This cannot be happening to me now…." He muttered, pleadingly, but the strange melody began to get louder. I don’t have to worry about anyone else, and I can think without having to process a million different things at once,” he explained. He turned to wink at my. “Besides, who wouldn’t love a late night drive with a gorgeous female in the passenger seat?”

I have only 3 days left before miss Lauretta throws me out. I went to collect the bill for his meal,his girlfriend is a talkative.
