“I like her. Much better than the last Luna.” My jaw clenches, and I glance at Leah. She raises a brow. “I’ll take that as a compliment,” she says smoothly. “It was,” Reyna answers. She leans slightly toward Leah, her violet gaze curious now. “What’s your name?” Leah glances at me and smiles faintly, as if asking for permission. I nod and she answers the Queen gently, “Leah.” Queen Reyna tilts her head. “Leah?” Leah shrugs lightly. “Yes ma'am.”

And beneath it all, Kael’s low growl—subtle, restrained, like a storm contained in a man’s chest. “Evelyn.” Her name rolled from him like a command and a prayer. Her throat went dry. “What does that mean? Mate—what does it mean in…in Lycan terms?” Jonah muttered something under his breath, his rifle finally lowering, though his glare stayed sharp. Rowan, however, gave a small, humorless laugh. “Tell her, Kael,” Rowan said, his voice cutting through the tension. “Tell her the fairy tale you kings like to spin.”

My name is Leah and I am the only daughter and only child of Alpha Benjamin of the Crescent Moon pack. We are a part of a cooperative pack alliance called the Concordat. Once I was steady enough I stepped away from Echo’s touch and turned to smile at him, mouthing thank you as he smiled and nodded at me, motioning ahead to where I could see Leo coming down the large front steps towards me. “Luna. It’s good to see you here finally. Did you make the trip ok?” He asked as he flashed me a bright smile, his green eyes sparkling in amusement as he looked over at the three of us. “We did yes. Leo this is Brodryn Horne and Echo, one of my head warriors. Guys this is Leo Royce. Kane’s Beta. I believe you’ve met at least Echo before.” I introduced with a small shrug, not sure if Brodryn has ever met him.

Leon stared right into the Poisonwielder’s eyes and answered calmly, "My name is Young Wolf. I work for the southern region branch of the Dragon Corps. Are you the Poisonwielder?" Taking Alfred's advice to heart, Leon made up an alias, taking the family names of him and Iris. He knew that the Poisonwielder came prepared if he dared to kill the Tiddertons under the Dragon Guards' noses, but was surprised to find that the Poisonwielder did not escape and waited nearby for them to leave.

I smiled towards her. "And may we know what our precious Luna name is?" Someone asked. "Rose. I go by the name Rose Adams." I answered and I heard someone clear his throat. I turned around and looked at Leo. I raised my eyebrows at hum, asking him if I made a mistake. "She goes by the name Rose Stones." He said and everyone burst out laughing. I wanted to group to swallow me up as I blushed real deep. He is just so...unpredictable. "Alpha is so funny." A young girl said. He looked at her and smiled.

Leo ends the phone. Mario groans and moves his body away from my car. "I hate you, Leonardo Alfonsi!" Mario exclaims before leaving. Leo's not only the member of that doomed clan but also the leader?
