Aretha Hawthorne: The Rise Of The Phoenix

Aretha Hawthorne: The Rise Of The Phoenix

Gold and white tones dominate the space, blending classic luxury with modern sophistication. A massive desk made of sleek white marble with gold trim sits at the center, immaculately organized with a computer, elegant black-and-gold stationery, and a few decorative items—crystal vases, golden sculptures, books stacked neatly. Behind the desk, an ergonomic black leather chair with gold accents exudes authority and power.

The Devil She Knows

The Devil She Knows

Camille The overhead lights come on as we walk into Alessio's office. I take in the antique-looking furniture made of black walnut wood and the glass-paned bookcase to the left that takes up the entire wall. The desk in the center commands most of the space, and rows of shelves filled with books line the wall behind the padded leather chair.

This book is full of suspense and I really enjoyed reading it, however I think there could be more chapters before ending it. Other wise a sequel to this one. There is still one loose end that needs to be solved

I finished the novel and I want to say how impressed I am. Very good writing, great plot, good editing. I must say in the beginning I didn't like the way Camille was doing all the dirty things Alessio asked her to do, I wanted her to be a bit more defiant (continuation in reply)

Nina (A Werewolf Romance)

Nina (A Werewolf Romance)

He was thrilling, dangerous even and dare I say it as hot as hell fire. Glancing around Levi’s room I took in the dark theme, much like Maverick’s room the colour theme was a mixture of dark oaks and black, grey shades. Everything was neat, his bed was made right down to the sheets being tucked underneath the mattress. I almost would have said his organisation skills where impressive until my eyes landed on the computer desk tucked into the corner of his room. Everything spotless except that one desk that was as chaotic as my latest emotions. Sat on top of the desk was a laptop, strewn up balls of paper, the charger I came in here looking for and a whole bunch of what looked to be pieces of

Sixty Days To Leave You

“I told her I was comfortable with that level of uncertainty.” “And,” Elliot said. “She laughed,” Adrian said. “The real version.” Elliot looked at him. “Good,” he said. He walked out. SERA The desk arrived at ten fifteen. She had ordered it online six days ago. Solid wood. Not decorative. The kind built to be used rather than observed. The right height. The right depth. A surface large enough to hold a laptop and a notebook and a coffee cup without any of them encroaching on the others.

Claiming My Father’s Best Friend

Claiming My Father’s Best Friend

The first thing that catches my eye is the floor-to-ceiling windows that stretch across two walls, offering an uninterrupted, breathtaking view of the city skyline. The flooring is a sleek, polished marble, while the walls are made of glass. There’s a large, custom-made desk made from some dark, exotic wood that gleams under the light. Its surface is immaculate, save for a few essentials: a tablet, a sleek pen holder, and a small stack of papers perfectly aligned. Behind the desk is a black leather chair that looks less like office furniture and more like a throne, Jordan’s throne. Jordan presses a button under his desk, and it frosts the clear glass wall. The mechanism is silent, seamless,

THE BOY WHO COULD BEAR AN HEIR

THE BOY WHO COULD BEAR AN HEIR

“No good morning?” Lucien didn't answer. He just stared as the scene of this familiar event replayed in his head, and fear gripped him. ~~~~~~ Zayn was in his office, a large, sleek room that screamed wealth and power. The walls were glass on one side, showing off a sweeping view of the city skyline. The sunlight poured in through the tall windows, bouncing off the polished marble floor. One entire wall was lined with bookshelves that held everything from law books to rare antiques. In the center of the room sat a massive black mahogany desk with gold trims. Behind it was Zayn’s chair, a custom-made leather piece that looked more like a throne than something meant for an office. Two elegant

It's not slow; I like the transitions, how the characters change and add complexity. I love Lucien; his painful memories make my heart swell; I hate his father. I'm still waiting for new episodes....️...

Hi everyone, I’ve seen a few comments saying the story feels slow or that what’s “supposed” to be happening hasn’t happened yet—even someone mentioned on Facebook that we’re already in Chapter 40 and the main story hasn’t begun. I want you to know that this is intentionally a slow burn story.

Lustful Eyes

These books look like they haven't been touched in years. She diligently dusted all the bottom shelves but was forced to stop when she reached the top. The grand bookcases were easily eight feet tall. How on earth was she supposed to clean the upper tiers? Scanning the room, her gaze finally landed on a tall wooden rolling ladder tucked against the far wall. She breathed a sigh of relief, grabbed the heavy rails, and smoothly slid the ladder over to her section.

MAFIA’S SURROGATE MISTRESS

MAFIA’S SURROGATE MISTRESS

The bed sheets were crumpled with rough dents, like it had just been rolled off. Deep into the bedroom was another door, quite ajar. A closed-off office space with a large desk space and a broad, high-backed golden mahogany chair. Resting against the desk was a dark crested cane. Scattered across the tabletop were ledger pages, white documents, fountain pens, a glass holding brown liquor, and a bottle nearby. A laptop was propped open, with voices spilling from the video with several Arab men in tailored suits, seated and speaking among themselves.

To see just what kind of books Spencer enjoyed reading. I didn’t though. I stayed where I was taking in everything. On the other side of the room was a heavy-looking desk in a dark cherry wood finish. A black leather computer chair sat behind it and there was a small lamp off to the side. In the middle of the desk was a slim silver laptop that was closed. To the back of the space was the bedroom. The king-sized four-poster bed was covered in luxurious dark blue silk sheets, and there were two matching nightstands on either side. I could see a door on the far wall that must lead to a bathroom.

Caleb chuckled and then nudged her closer to her desk. The desk was a large beautiful desk with a mix of oak and metal decorative touches throughout the front and ends. The chair was a black, plush executive style roller chair. Sonya was excited to sit in it. There were bookshelves lining the wall between her office and the Alphas. Several file cabinets both tall four drawer ones and two drawer ones on the opposite wall. There were two plush chairs in front of her desk and a coat rack by the door. She was drawn from her thoughts by Caleb.
