I read only physical paper books and do not read web novels at all, so the texture of my writing is a bit different from others. It was a creative writing class and over the years many of the short stories that I made in this class turned into full-blown novels. The only ones who know about those novels are Nathan and Lucas because quite a few of them are my more mature books. Lucas is my best friend so it is quite easy to tell him my different stories. It took a lot more time to be able to tell Nathan about them though. I guess I should be afraid that he would tell the whole school. For some reason, though I can't bring myself to be afraid. I guess I just can't see Nathan ever doing that to me.

There are so few views, now that Goodnovel provided me a platform, but I am more than happy to continue this story and perhaps, make it my first completed novel. So now allow me to talk about the novel itself. I have talked to my editor about it and I came to know that my first few chapters are quite odd. The beginning chapter itself barely had any conversation. Well… To be honest, it can’t be helped since I wrote it on my first attempt in writing. I have no background. No experience. I read. I read. I read a ton. I was very smug about my memory since I could remember all sorts of details from hundreds of chapters back.

Elle sat at her table and stared at the laptop, “A romance novel, eh?” She heaved a sigh shaking her head, “What the point it was all cliche, he ate my ears complaining how bad it was.” She pouted sulkily. She opened the laptop regardless and placed her fingers on the keyboard, she closed her eyes and took a deep sigh, “Fine, let’s give it a go,” She nodded determinedly. With the start of the novel, her fingers moved in a flow, the words went in a flow, she spent her day and night in front of the laptop, 3 weeks later, her book was done, she wiped her tears as she stared at her completed manuscript.

Bryce, I know you’re probably wondering where I went… Writing. Slowly at first, then faster. I crumpled one page. Then another. Finally, I settled into a version that felt right—naive enough, soft enough. A lie, but mixed with enough truth to make it believable. Levi convinced me to go back to school. Crescent Valley University… I kept writing. Adding simple details. Mentioning classes I wasn’t taking. Professors I’d never met. A life I’d never live. It wasn’t perfect, but it was enough.

This time she wrote only a few simple lines. There were no complicated phrases.
