As the two were talking mellowly, Belphegor glanced at them. "(Hmm, my lord shall have a big family…)" he thought. As the trio was walking near the large pool of lava, a sudden creature surged from it! Chaos had already detected it but waited for it to emerge on its own, as he glared at it with his crimson-red eyes. The essence of flames exuded from this creature, resembling a piranha covered in hard red scales and having two pairs of limbs, like those of a lizard…

I can tell he’s starting to squirm under the pressure. A Luna's place in her pack is very different from an Alpha’s. An Alpha is there to make and enforce rules, communicate between different packs, oversee construction of new houses, things like that. The Luna, while still holding various responsibilities, is meant to be a mother- like role. Educate the youth, hold a young mother’s hands through birth, wipe a child’s tears when it falls.

At that moment, the divine Black Turtle's disdainful voice echoed in Chase's mind, "What deity? It's just the little crawler, Shale Lowry. That so-called dragon you faced earlier was his offspring." Shale Lowry? Even hearing the name startled Chase. This was another creature from mythology. "Don't worry. Back in Bactria, he was just a low-level beast. Imagine that. After being expelled from Bactria, he's now called a deity in Eastern Ocean," the divine Black Turtle scoffed. "Shale was originally a beast from Bactria and got kicked out?" Chase asked curiously. "Yes. During a great chaos, he recklessly slaughtered ordinary people. My brother beat him up but spared his life as a fellow demon. H

Stella glanced at the elf prince, who then gave her a look. “It’s PRINCE.” “It’s ROSE’S sister to you then if you keep acting like that.” She frowned at him. “Back to the topic at hand, isn’t the chimera’s origin a result of dark magic?” “Yes.” “And dark magic coincides with curses, am I right?” At her question, Ace’s eyes widened. “And the chalice can lift curses. Which means….” She trailed off. A small smile appearing on her lips and she glanced at me and then at Ace. “Are you guys thinking what I’m thinking?”

Leywin did not exactly know if the last Chakra had been dear to the moon goddess’ heart, she was certainly not dear to the hearts of those who lived on earth. There were three kinds of Chakras; The moon’s deception, this kind gave the carrier the power to invoke the presence of the moon with all it’s benefits on any group of Werewolves that they had chosen. The Moon’s curse could turn the moon itself against Werewolves, making it their worst nightmare, and the Moon’s lover made it’s carriers able to tell the future by simply looking at the moon. So far, all the known Chakras were women, but if indeed Shira was one, she would be the first human Chakra.

And my mind reeled as I stumbled backward out of Lana's arms and my hand grasping for the door knob to steady myself. I didn't remember anything he'd mentioned, except for the visions. The extremely draining visions that immediately flashed into my mind in that moment. I remembered the way it felt like the scream had stuck in my throat when the face shifting creature bent over me. I'd thought it was a nightmare first until it spoke. “You've awakened a curse….doom on everyone, all because of you, Luna.” I shuddered as the guttural voice rang out in my head again. Lana stepped forward again, her eyes serious. “The creatures are called Void hounds,” she muttered carefully, “they are ancient bei

"The position of Luna is traditionally reserved for werewolves. Most pack members might not accept a human as their luna. It's a threat to their status, and I don't think they would ever respect her." "Then fuck them!" I banged the table, rising on my feet. "I'm tired of listening to you." "Come on, CJ, it hasn't gotten to that," Harrison pleaded, but I ignored him and walked away, having other places to attend. I headed to the Archimage to see Zeus, who was rumored to be a direct descendant of the Moon goddess. No one knew how old he was, but it was rumored that he was more than five hundred years old. The huge tower loomed before me as I stepped inside, greeted by the sight of a library fi

Her house is more a museum than a home. “Werewolves are the last supernatural creatures created, did you know?” She walks us to the oversized cushions, sitting down, and I follow suit. “Dragons and fairies are among the oldest beings to exist.” “My clan are descendants of the first.” She smiles, sharing with me her memories. “Created by the great…” And then she delves into a language full of consonants, I couldn’t decipher even if I lived forever. “Sorry, I should probably put it in terms you understand. I guess Chaos would be the most applicable name. He has many names depending on the culture and religion you ask.”

As he watered the much taller peach tree, he thought back to his life, about the story of the phoenix being reborn from the flames of the Queen of the Gods, about the ten arrows of the Ancestor God, two magic pills that can help the drinker become immortal, the resentments he has experienced, the love that is his destiny… all of that has been arranged. Then the saddest thing in his life is that he never once followed the choice… After watering the peach tree, he slowly walked towards the great hall of heaven. Arriving in front of the great hall of the Lord of the Gods, he bowed his head, took several deep breaths, and then said: “León de Fuego… to meet the Lord of the Gods and the Queen of t

She had only ever heard of one kind of shifter and that was the werewolves. ”Foxes, Jaguars and a horde of other supernaturals”, the high mage replied. ”All those are myths, right?”, Luna asked nervously. The air around them had suddenly gotten stiff. ”We have heard of the stories but that is all folklore”, Rey said. ”The endless passing of time has cast a fog over the truth. Why did you see at the catacombs?”, the high mage asked Rey. “When you and Lucius went in there, you both saw something. What was it?”
