Nothing Left to Say

Nothing Left to Say

Students were scattered around the square, taking photos, strolling, and skateboarding. Then, a figure suddenly cut into my view. Clive. He stood beneath the famous maple tree at the edge of the plaza, wearing a thin black trench coat, his hair messy from the wind. His face looked pale and unhealthy. Dark circles weighed heavily under his eyes, and there was even rough stubble along his jaw. He was staring straight at me, his gaze intense, filled with emotions too tangled to name. My steps stopped. For a split second, it felt like my blood froze, then started flowing again.

Blood Legacy

Blood Legacy

In fact, I kinda felt pretty good. "Is it finally coming to an end?" I asked with a hint of excitement. "Not really. You still have like four days or so," He answered with a serious tone, his lips pressing into a thin line. "Four days?!?" I screeched, feeling like throwing myself out the fucking window as I let myself fall back into those fluffy pillows, reeling with utter exasperation and dejection. Four days? What the fuck!?! It's been only three and I've barely managed to hold myself in check and endure so far. How the hell was I supposed to get through four more?

Love, Left Too Late

Love, Left Too Late

Instead, he picked up a string of bad habits: drinking, clubbing, and street racing. The night before last, Gerald was in a bad mood and went racing on the mountainous roads again. His brakes failed, and the crash was serious. The doctors said he might even lose a leg. "Gerald refuses to go abroad for treatment. He says it's his punishment." Elena sobbed. "Nyssa, can you come and talk to him?" she asked. I stayed silent for a long while. Behind me, Scott's arm circled me once more, his voice low and tender as he said, "My dear."

A BILLIONAIRE'S MARRIAGE DEAL

A BILLIONAIRE'S MARRIAGE DEAL

They split into two teams—Damon, Sarah, and Lou took the east entrance; Lucas and Elena circled to the west. Inside, the air was stale and thick with dust. The station’s walls were lined with rusted audio panels and old wiring. But amid the decay, sleek, humming servers blinked—modern tech hidden inside forgotten walls. “Found it,” Lou whispered. “Hardwired, no Wi-Fi. That’s why she thought it was safe.” Suddenly, gunfire cracked through the silence. “West side!” Elena’s voice shouted over comms. Lucas’s voice followed: “Engaged—three hostiles. Not Katrina.”

Deleted but Not Dead

Deleted but Not Dead

Under their reprimands, I walked into the operating room without hesitation. Anesthesia was injected into my body. I could clearly feel the cold blade of the scalpel cutting through me. At the same time, the system's final countdown echoed in my ears. "Five… four… three… two… one…" "Host erasure complete." In my next life, I never want to meet them again.

RUIN MY 4.0

RUIN MY 4.0

I need to hit something. I park by an abandoned building then head inside. I punch in the eight-digit code by the elevator disguised as a collapsed shaft, and with a click, it drops me four floors into my underground training center. I can already feel the heat from the room along with the familiar smell of blood. The doors slide open to the sound of my men’s grunts and curses as they train. The corridors are narrow with black rubber mats and heavy workout bags. About twenty of my men are scattered across the room. The second they spot me, the room is instantly quiet.

Victor
I very much enjoyed this story. Both Aiden & Nikolai make for a great dual protagonist combo. There were minor inconsistencies such as descriptions of a character’s physical traits changing, but nothing that messed with the flow of the story. Loved the plentiful spicy scenes as well. I recommend!

Dead Weight

Dead Weight

Then he makes a sound. Low. Short. Not a word. Something beneath where words live. The entire left flank folds inward like a hand closing. Maya’s grip tightens on the radio. Marcus makes another sound. Different. The formation opens. He is not relaying information. He is not telling them where the dead are. They already know where the dead are. Everyone with eyes, ears, or a functioning sense of doom knows where the dead are. He is doing something else. Something Maya has no useful word for.

Crimson vows

Crimson vows

Three left. They reach the gate but it is too late. Rifles speak again. One spins, arms wide. Another falls face first. The last tries to climb but with a single shot to the neck, he slides down the metal, leaving a red trail. Four become zero. Only dead men and red snow stay on the screens. Fast and clean. No one reaches the wall. No one. Lev stands behind Nikolai with his jacket open. I see his shoulder. He has a smooth skin but there is no Morozov wolf brand.

He Left Our Son Dying for the Son Who Was Never His

He Left Our Son Dying for the Son Who Was Never His

The next morning, Darcy stood in the private cemetery on the outskirts of the Thorne estate. Unlike the cold marble mausoleum Harry had desecrated in his madness, this grave was hidden beneath the weeping boughs of an ancient willow tree. The headstone was simple, white, and bore only one name: Leo. Darcy knelt on the damp earth, the hem of her silk dress disregarded. In her trembling hands, she held the the Lot 44 she had outbid a room full of millionaires to obtain. It was the last thing Leo had asked for before the world went dark.
