After drinking, I set the glass on the sink and caught a glimpse of a book Xavier told me that was from my mom. I opened the book and saw a Spider-Man sticker on the first page. I smiled at it but I don't know why. I assumed because I just thought it was cute but there was something in my mind that recalled a feeling whenever I look at it. Suddenly I heard a little boy's voice in my head. Spider-Man is much cooler than Superman!! I turned to the spot beside the refrigerator where I can see a little boy holding up two stickers. I eyed him for a second, trying to decide was he real or was I starting to go crazy. Something about him reminds me of someone.

Worse yet would be a jump from a building as tall as the Stratosphere. The Vampire was almost back to the landing. He held onto one rung, swinging back and forth, reaching with the other hand, trying to secure his placement. Jamie was closing in. Almost every type of toy. They obviously weren't lacking when it came to things to play with. I should've thought of another present to bring them. “Did your mom get you all these?” I asked. “Some of them,” Liam replied, picking out a Spider-Man. “But Uncle Faano got us lots of it too.” I stiffened. I didn't need an explanation to know that Faano was an affectionate name for Stefano. Liam kept talking. “Uncle Faano even got us a PS5! Do you know how to play?”

When Emiliano entered the bedroom, everything was in darkness. He stretched his hand along the wall until he found the light switch, and when he turned it on, he found a narrow room filled with toys and stuffed animals hanging from the walls, old and worn. There were several costumes for their bedroom games—a cheerleader, an angel, and a sexy pirate wench. When he opened the Spider-Man costume that included two cans of silly string, he grabbed a can and chased Rebekah around the house until he eventually cornered her and sprayed his sticky web all over her. It was a red and black themed party red decoration paper swung softly from the trees while on the plants hung wool-made cobwebs giving it a spidery look. The birthday boy was clad in a Spiderman outfit, his face hidden behind the mask. Located sparingly in the garden were Spiderman action figures because it was Benny’s wish to have such a party. Megan had gone all out to give her son the birthday party of his choice and she was happy to see that it had turned out well. She remembered when Benny was a year old and that was the only time that her ex-husband and she had thrown a party for the boy.
