Lia said and I nodded, swallowing hard. I stared at the familiar writing on the paper. Written on the paper was some sort of riddle in the form of a poem. Weird. "What does it say?" Lee asked. "Roses are red Violets are blue I gave my little man A bunch of gardenias" I couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't clear but I knew what she was trying to make me remember. Lee raised a brow. "Didn't know you were into flowers. How the hell did I not know?" Lee said.

lemonade was what Vikki always said was for her mom and her mom's friends only because it contained alcohol, when she and Kelly had spoken of it. Brenda kept her gaze on the floor and Kelly's tanned feet for a moment as she blushed again and took a breath. She sighed quietly, glancing back to Kelly's face quickly, in order to not linger on her firm, fit body. "Sure Kelly, I'd be glad to make you girls some lemonade, but maybe not the 'special' kind." He gave me an amused look, suppressing a laugh. “Chocolate or Oreo in lemonade?” He chuckled softly, shaking his head. “That would be... hell, let’s just say, not the best mix.”

The next morning, Alice woke up late, all dizzy after throwing up a few times at night. Andrew was already gone, and she found a glass of lemonade with a memo under it.
