Between one breath and the next, a gigantic brown bear stood in his place. "I'm going to die. This is it. This is what twenty-two years on this planet has gotten me. Hallucinations and being eaten by a huge ass bear." The bear chuffled. He snorted at me. Looking directly at my animal legs, he looked back up at me. Back to my legs. Back to my face.

Bear said in disgust, “my ass! This is why I always kept my people away from you mongrels.” “Get us in and we will be more than glad to leave.” Burican dryly said. “You go in through there; you can get out the same way or out the front door.” Bear said pointing to an opening. “You’re supposed to get us in and out.” Max growled. “Wrong. I said I would get you in.” Bear chuckled. “I never said anything about getting you out.” Bear said and then disappeared. “Fuck! Where did he go?! Come back here you stupid bear!” Max yelled.

The gathered warriors cheered loudly, many shouting praises at their king. The Bear King took in the applause for a long time before finally raising his hand to silence the crowd. “The wolves were already afraid of our power,” the Bear King said. “But now that we have their prince, we can fully crush their spirits.” The crowd burst into cheers again. A bear dressed in black, wearing a black mask over his face slowly stepped up the steps of the stage. In his hands, he carried a great axe, with a sharpened edge in the shape of a crescent moon.

Betty’s eyes locked unto his and she saw a flicker or something there, something that made her wonder what her captor had in mind for her. Walking down the hallway with the guard to see the boss, Betty's eyes noticed something familiar on the left hanging on the wall, a painting caught her attention. It was a black canvas with a single, bold image: a black angry bear with its face filled with rage and its teeth exposed ready to devour anything on its part, it’s eyes filled with hate and bitterness. Betty's heart skipped a beat as she felt a shiver run down her spine. The bear looked eerily familiar, reminiscent of a painting in her family house.

What would a Bear be- I turned around swiftly and sure enough, there was a Bear, just in front of Alex, crouching beside him and oggling at his face. What the hell? At first when Alex noticed it, his face contorted in fear, ready to scream bloody murder but the sound died in his voice. All the while, the Bear did nothing but stare at him, before dipping it head lower and nuzzling its big nose on Alex's face. Alex shrank away in fear, but at the Bears second try, he did not recoil, rather embraced it. They both stayed like that for long time, Alex finding peace and solace in the warmth of the Bears

This bond, this feeling, it was keeping me from thinking straight. Growling, a bear rustled in the bushes on the far side of the plantation house. "You alright?" Justin came forward, his hand touching my shoulder, but my snarl ripped through the air. I wanted to fucking kill something. The bear was better than any human to take upon my wrath.

Maybe even like it? Is that even possible? Ana thought. She just felt on edge by it. “Okay. I will.” Ana answered. “Good.” Nicoli smiled and let go. The silver slipped from his hand to land with the rest. “Well, now that we made a promise, back to more bears!” And Nicoli was excitedly pulling back up his book. He rapidly turned pages. “And this one is a Grizzly bear. And that’s a black bear. Oh, this one is really tough, a Polar bear-” Nicoli went on.

Damon stepped back as the bear tossed the spear in front of him, almost hitting him on the head. Asher was standing next to Damon now, weaponless. “Crap. I thought that would work!” – Asher exclaimed “This is one giant bear. Not the usual ones.” “But he’s supposed to be weak! This beast hasn’t eaten in 3 days!” “That’s not how it works. When they’re starving, just the sight of meat drives them crazy. Right now the bear is too hungry and is using his last rounds of energy to hunt for us.” Asher shook his head.

He shot toward Javier with unstoppable force and a burst of momentum not unlike the very first eruption of a volcano. The daughter looked over her shoulder at her parents with a smirk on her lips. “Mom, Dad, meet Boulder Bear. I spent a fortune to hire this big man for my protection. He costs, like, a few million dollars! But he more than makes up for it with his sheer might and skills. Like, he once fought a godd*mn brown bear in the forest with his own fists, completely topless, and won! Beating up this pipsqueak? Piece of cak—”

ALTHEA The bear’s growl rumbles through my chest, deep and angry. My body locks up in fear, but my mind screams at me to not stop running. “Asher,” I whisper, though my voice barely comes out. He doesn’t need my warning. He’s already raising his gun, his arm steady as he aims it at the bear. The bear snarls, ears pinned back, eyes locked on us. It’s bigger than I expected. Much bigger. Its fur is a deep, thick brown, and its black claws look sharp enough to tear through flesh like paper.
