Then, from behind her, she brought out a bouquet of flowers.
“Come on. I’ll go with you to the cemetery. Andy should see his father smiling again.”
I looked at her, feeling deeply moved, and nodded firmly.
At the cemetery, Andy’s photo on the gravestone showed him smiling happily. I wiped the dust from the stone and talked to him for a long time. I also placed many toys in front of his grave.
“Andy, I will never forget you, but don’t you forget me, too. When I see you someday, I hope you’ll remember me.”
