RED:The Alpha's Witch

RED:The Alpha's Witch

The librarian was an old woman with glasses and a friendly smile. “ Hi, I would like to borrow these books” said Marissa. “ Do you have a library pass?” asked the woman. Marissa mentally facedpalmed herself. Of course she will be asked to produce her library card. “ Excuse me” said Marissa as she turned and left. Marissa sighed as she realised her attempt to hide the books from them have proven futile. She went to meet Oliver and Frank. “The librarian said I need a library card” she said to them.

The Luna Reborn: Surviving As The FL In A Werewolf Romance

The Luna Reborn: Surviving As The FL In A Werewolf Romance

Her dark hair was tied up in a knot, strands falling loose around her face, I could tell she hadn’t slept in days. “Huh?” “You’re holding it upside down,” she repeated, sliding down the ladder. She plucked the tome from my arms with ease. “You’ll crack the spine if you don’t know what you’re doing.” Judging by the way she moved like she owned the place, I decided she must be the Librarian. I bristled, “I’m sorry, but it’s not my fault of your books are out to murder me.” “Wow,” she said, her mouth twitching in an almost-smile “The Luna, single-handedly destroying centuries-old texts. That’s definitely one way to cement your legacy, usually they just sit for po

Marked by the Mafia Boss [BL]

Marked by the Mafia Boss [BL]

"We find the architect. We assess. This is not greed. This is a signature. A calling card." The trace took Leo and a handpicked team of his best grey-hats two months. It led not to a person, but to a legend. A myth in the underworld of high-finance cybercrime: "The Librarian." No real name, no face. A entity known for only pulling heists that were, in their own warped way, statements. They had once robbed a blood diamond conglomerate and donated the sum to a historical preservation society. They had hacked an oil company and used the funds to plant a forest. They were a phantom with a perverse moral code.

Elaine of Artharia

Elaine of Artharia

The woman stood behind the podium; her old, but unworked hands, smoothing out the precious pages. “Welcome to my library,” The woman said, her eyes flashing to them. “Can I help you find something?” The librarian had a reputation about her, stories whispered on sleepless nights. Her name was Claudia, and she had been in the library for as long as anyone could remember. Claudia’s book held more than the location of library books; it was said to hold every answer imaginable. The volume was magic; so much so that it was a part of the woman’s soul, and only she could read its pages. To every other eye, it was completely and utterly blank.

The Price Of Fate

The Price Of Fate

About what I was becoming. I turned and began walking deeper into the library. The librarian was at the far desk near the eastern shelves, arranging a stack of old returns with the deliberate care of someone who had spent too many years around fragile things to ever move roughly again. She was older, thin, with silver at her temples and sharp eyes that missed less than people probably liked. I had seen her before over the years, though mostly from a distance. Not many girls like me had reason to linger in libraries where knowledge belonged more easily to children expected to inherit something.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

There was a silver port at the base of her neck, pulsing with a faint blue light. "Subject: Librarian-Echo," Julian announced to the sky. "Role: The 'Traitorous Mentor.'" The Librarian-Echo looked at me. Her voice was flat, mechanical, and devoid of the warmth I remembered. "Kaima. Your 'World-Building' was a violation of the 'Terms of Service.' You have accumulated a 'Debt' of 500,000 Narrative Credits. Please surrender the remains of the 'Master-Key' for liquidation."

Forbidden sweet love

Forbidden sweet love

Uhm… I just wanted to understand everything that happened last night better,” I whispered, even though I knew that was only half true. Lucian smiled. He pushed off the shelf and walked toward me, he felt close enough that I could smell the faint scent of aged paper and something darker, like midnight rain. “Very well, little librarian. But there are rules. Each book you choose will manifest its story through me. The words you read aloud become sensations on your body. The pleasure is real. It can make you moan, tremble, even come undone. But there is no lasting harm… unless you stay past the final chime too often.”

THE BILLIONAIRE WHO THREW AWAY HIS VIRGIN WIFE

THE BILLIONAIRE WHO THREW AWAY HIS VIRGIN WIFE

I walked to the desk. The librarian from my first visit looked up. “Help you?” “I’m looking for the municipal planning volume that covers the east district redevelopment. The catalog says it’s in reference, but I can’t find it on the shelf.” She typed something, frowned, then glanced past me. “I think someone already has it out. Daniel—do you still have the east district planning book?” I turned. A man a few tables over looked up from a spread of papers and an open laptop. He was in his early thirties, dark hair, sleeves rolled to the elbows, the kind of focused expression that belonged to someone who had been working for a while.

MOTH AND FLAMES

MOTH AND FLAMES

“ I think you are mistaken. We only lend books. We don’t sell books.” “ This library is so old. It could do with some refurbishing. I really want this book. My grandfather loves to collect old books. I want to gift this book to him.” I said handing the old librarian a cheque of $10,000. “ Do you think you can buy me. I never sell books. Go keep that book on the shelf and leave at once.” He yelled. I would just have to come later and destroy this book. I kept the book on the shelf and left.

His 2 Story

His 2 Story

And the list got halved, there were only two who didn't give books back to the library, a young girl and a mid aged man. She asked the librarian for the last favour, she wanted him to give the personal information of those two members like their house address or mobile number. The librarian refused to tell at first he said it's not in our policy to share the personal information with others. Jenny tried to give a good tip to the librarian and there he couldn't refuse. Take care of yourselves, my readers !! Tell me what you like, tell me when I was wrong :-)
