I turned forward, closed the car window, and looked ahead, my heart calm. The fog gradually lifted, sunlight spilling gently, and I knew this was the start of a new beginning.

The First Author's body slowly dissolved into countless points of light. Before disappearing completely... he smiled at Adrian one last time. "The story is yours now." The light faded. Silence returned. But it was no longer an empty silence. It was filled with infinite possibilities. Far beyond the City of Forgotten Authors... beyond the White Tree... beyond every Door... a brand-new page turned by itself.
