“Sorry, I’m a bit out of it.” She shrugged, and opening the small door in the gate. She had no umbrella with her, I’m guessing she go out in a hurry. Who wouldn’t when their cousin was standing in front of her own home gate, and staring at her house like a psycho? “Don’t apologize. Let’s get you inside before you catch a cold.” I nod, following her through the door. The walkway is just like I remember, on each side are prize winning roses. Of different colors. Huh? When do black roses exist? I took a small detour from following Alexis, bending over a patch of those strange black roses.

Caspian rose from the bath, water cascading down his muscular form as he lifted Lilith effortlessly. Her legs instinctively wrapped around his waist, her core pressed against his taut abdomen. Their lips remained locked in a passionate dance as he carried her towards the bedroom, leaving a trail of water droplets in their wake.

Now these poor people were back to being corporate drones, forced to work overtime. Dylan tsked silently, flashing a warm smile at the front desk attendant. "Lily, can i perhaps be allowed to the executive floor?". Lily raised her furry head, revealing her small, oval face with big, round eyes. She smiled warmly, her eyes squinting behind her big framed glasses, "Young master Chu, it's been a long while since we've last met". " Unfortunately, Young master Xi isn't in the office today...", she paused, her gaze awkwardly settling on Dylan.

“Blaire, STOP!” I screamed inside her mind. “You’re ruining my life!” She smirked. Lissa looked confused and surprised. “Rose… are you okay? Did you take something? Did you drink alcohol before coming to work? Or do you have a death wish?” Blaire turned toward Lissa slowly… smiling like a devil herself. “You?” she scoffed, looking at Lissa from head to toe. “You are just a piece of trash and I don’t talk to people like you.”

Alpha Casper confirmed, kissing his cheek. “Thank you for everything you did while I wasn't around. And thanks for letting them stay in your house. I will collect them tomorrow morning.” He started kissing Liam and me before walking out of the house. “What just happened?” Rose asked in fear, staring at us. It was funny how Alpha Casper and my wolf, Liz, hate Daphne without any reason. But Daphne meant the whole world to me. Daphne glared at me with eyes full of anger. “You are making a big mistake, Lilith!”

Lilith had left her maidens to complete the decorations for the wedding--strewing yellow and white poppies near the entrance to the temple, weaving ribbons and small chimes made of silver into the low branches of the oak trees--and walked away from them, west, toward the river, toward where Daniel, Shelby, and Miles were hiding. She carried a bouquet of white lilies. When she reached the riverbank, she plucked a few petals and scattered them over the water, still singing softly under her breath. Then she turned to walk north along the bank, toward a huge old carob tree with branches that drooped into the river.

Now, there was another emotion that I was impressed to see in someone who had that kind of zestful behavior. Lilith's gaze briefly flickered to the two assistants behind Rosemarie, who were holding several boxes and the large covered trunk that must contain the gown. Her eyes lingered there longer than necessary before she smiled again. "Oh, what lovely fabrics," she complimented in her sweet tone, her eyes eyeing her up and down as she gasped as if she was starstruck. "Are you... Lady Rosemarie from The Gilded Stitch?" "I am," Rosemarie replied with pride, clasping her hands together.

Tristan's eyes lit up with curiosity. "Hey, Rosie? Can I ask you something?" Rosalind's face sparkled with anticipation. "Of course, bro! What's up?" Tristan grinned mischievously. "How's things with you and Lucine? You two are still going strong, I take it?" Rosalind's cheeks flushed a deep pink, and she squealed with delight. "Oh, Tristan! We're amazing! And...and we're getting married!"

"This woman is a wanted criminal. Please delete the videos you recorded..." Dominic then stuffed the woman into the trunk of the old car before dragging Rosie into the vehicle as well. "Ouch! Can't you be a little gentler? You're so rough!" Rosie complained about the red marks Dominic had left on her arm, but a strange excitement flickered across her face. Dominic ignored her and immediately took Lilith to Rosie's place. Later, he said, "Find a quiet room." Rosie's eyes lit up. "Come with me!"

And then I saw them—Lilith and Rose. What the hell? I narrowed my eyes. “What are you doing here?” Lilith didn’t flinch. “I came to pack my clothes.” I raised a brow and shot a look at Rose. “Leave us.” Lilith's eyes narrowed slightly. “She needs to help me with something.” “I won’t repeat myself,” I said coldly. Rose, always the obedient one, looked at Lilith and mouthed a soft sorry, then turned to me with a respectful nod before walking out.
