Daniel was standing in the middle of the room holding a bouquet of orange tulips and plastic black flowers. I loved the color palette he had chosen because I automatically knew what he was going for—Halloween colors. “What did I do to deserve these?” I asked as I walked over to where he was standing and took the flowers from him.
