Lily Shawn

Lily Shawn

Luis said to her and led her to his room. Luis turned on his laptop and quickly went into his email. He opened the mail. Sheila Williams, 25 years, caucasian, North Africa, Western Sahara. Luis went through all the other details of the lady. His eyes widened "This can't be," Luis said and Lily looked at him questioningly. "She's been dead for 10 years now. We need to speak with Nora?" he said. "Why?" Lily asked "She is related to Nora," Luis said and Lily gasped.

Trapped By The Cold-Hearted Billionaire

Trapped By The Cold-Hearted Billionaire

Her lips twitched, but there was no sympathy in her eyes. “Start talking,” she said coldly. “And maybe I’ll consider it.” Lillian nodded frantically, wiping her bloody lip with the back of her hand. “You're right, It was Jade,” she began, her voice trembling. “She said...she said if I did this, she’d take care of me. That she’d make sure I wouldn’t have to struggle anymore. But I swear, Scarlet, I didn’t know it would go this far. I didn’t know—”

Divorcing The Alpha: Now He Won't Let Me Go

Divorcing The Alpha: Now He Won't Let Me Go

Lillian’s POV When I said “I do” in the aisle with my plain white dress and sweet smile, I never thought I'd be preparing a date for my husband and his mistress on our anniversary. Being the first Omega to become a Luna, my life isn’t really a Cinderella-like story that everyone envies me for. I am Lilian Harrington-Edwards, a nobody whose mother is an alcoholic gambler and a father who is out of the picture from the start.

Mr. Billionaire's Contract Wife

Mr. Billionaire's Contract Wife

Lillian bit her lip, eyes reddening, and made a hesitant and difficult-to-spell expression, "Yes, I love you, so I'm willing to be your secret woman. Evan, I have nothing left, I've given you everything. You can't betray me!" Evan had already put on his final piece of clothing, his smile deepening, "So how do you want me not to betray you?" "I... I... I want the leading lady role, can I have it?" Lillian cautiously asked. Evan suddenly laughed. Lillian immediately put on a look of feeling wronged but remained silent, a gesture she was most skilled at. As expected, Evan didn't answer her question but took out a checkbook from his pocket, wrote a number, tore it out, and placed it on the table

Phillip and Lillian

Phillip and Lillian

“Miranda trapped me in the main hall of the castle we thought was the wedding venue. She locked all exits, then blew up the room. Luckily I was able to summon the Silverwall Knights, they came just in time to protect me and the Falsies from the ruins with shields. After that, we tried to find a way out of the castle.” To be honest Lillian didn't care about that brief explanation. She was just happy that Louise was in front of her now. "But you're okay, right?" With a small chuckle, Louise clasped Lillian's hands together, “I'm here now, Lillian. And you can see for yourself how good I am.”

The Silenced Songbird Sings Again

The Silenced Songbird Sings Again

] Salvatore stood in front of the grave. At last, he understood. The real Liliana was dead. She had been lost at two, and died at three in the outskirts of Napleton City. Joseph had found her grave and given her name to Irene. Irene was now Liliana. She had a new name, a new identity, a new life. The Irene who had once loved him no longer existed. Salvatore folded the medical report and placed it in front of the headstone. "I'm sorry." He did not even know who he was apologizing to.

He looked up when she entered. “You were gone longer,” he said. “The meeting ran late,” Lillian replied. She hesitated, then added, “I met someone.” He waited. “Sofia Reyes. She works with several independent foundations. She is practical. Kind.” Nathaniel searched his memory. The name surfaced with context but no threat. “Did she want something.” “No,” Lillian said. “That is what startled me.” Nathaniel studied her carefully. There was color in her cheeks that had not been there this morning. Her posture was looser. Her voice carried ease.

Scarlett

Scarlett

Ever since he found his sister's dead body and her children, he had not been the same. "Lucian, you have made your point. Calm the fuck down," I told him. Scarlett returned, wearing the dress she claimed she stole and carrying the bag that Lucian had bought her. She handed him the bag. "I do not need your charity," she said, handing him the bag.

This was a great book, rich in detail and with complex characters. It’s the second book I read from this author, the first being “Unwanted”, which had no ending. This book also has no ending. I’m really disappointed to have wasted so much money on books that appear to have been abandoned.

They had spaghetti, fruit salad, and a cake with a candle shaped 18 on it. Ellaine was forced to speak just to break the awkward silence, “Auntie, a while ago I met a strange woman. Her name is Margarette.” “Margarette? I don’t know a woman named Margarette living in the neighborhood.” “Maybe that’s because she’s living near the city proper. She has this shop selling weird stuffs as well.” Ellaine was not interested in eating her spaghetti anymore. She was merely poking it with her fork. “What kind of weird stuffs?”
