I dipped my hand into the water and swirled it around, creating more bubbles. "Here, Sir Quacksalot, take these magical bubbles and defeat the monster!"

I said, my voice low and enticing. Lily looked at me warily, her eyes narrowing. "What kind of proposition?" she asked, her voice guarded. I leaned in close, my breath warm against her ear. "I have something that could make you very rich," I whispered. "And all you have to do is a little favor for me." Lily's eyes widened with interest, and I knew I had her hooked. "What kind of favor?" she asked, her voice breathless. I held out a small vial filled with a clear liquid. "This is a very powerful potion," I said. "And I want you to make sure that you find a way for Melina to step on it."

It was coming from the kitchen. "Lily?" I called out, raising an eyebrow. She jumped, nearly dropping the wooden spoon she was holding. "SARAH?!" she squealed, spinning around. "Oh my god, you're out of bed! You scared me!" I laughed softly. "You're the one boiling potions like some secret witch. What are you even making?" Lily hurried toward me, eyes wide as she gave me a quick once-over. "You shouldn't be up yet! Are you sure you're okay? You were literally, like, half-dead three days ago!"
